it is a replica,, prove otherwise..
PS Nice Fauxhawk, Trey.
This is only PR. The DC police do not have jurisdiction over Congressmen inside federal buildings.
Trey Gowdy has as wide an array of hairstyles and facial hair as Hillary Clinton. I still love him to pieces.
But a collection of photos over the past year shows him with hair combed up and hair combed down. Spiked and flat. A bit of a mustache and clean shaven. Will the real Trey please stand up!
That suit doesn’t even fit him. Is there a Mrs. Trey? Please take him in hand.
He wants to keep us guessing :)
Ah, one of my favorite subjects!
Article I, section 8: The Congress shall have power...To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States”
Exclusive. All Cases whatsoever.
I’ve been pestering various Senators and Representatives since my kids and I were caught in a flash mob, about twenty feet away from a stabbing, at the National Zoo on Easter Monday 2011.
I’m licensed to carry in 35 states (including Massachusetts!), but of course the pretend DC “government” does not recognize these permits.
The phrase “in all Cases whatsoever” had special meaning for the men of 1788. That was the right Parliament had to legislate over the colonies. Thomas Paine, in The American Crisis, referred to the “all Cases whatsoever” authority as “impious; for so unlimited a power can belong only to God.”
In any event, Congress can void all DC “laws” regarding self-defense and firearm possession tomorrow. They can certainly mandate that the civil authorities in DC recognize the permits of all 50 states.
But of course, they won’t even answer letters about this. The last letter I wrote to Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) got an answer about some budget deal she was working on.
Please take a minute to write to your congressthing and your Senators, asking them to write a firearm law for DC that recognizes 1) Concealed carry for DC residents and 2) Reciprocity for all 50 states and the local authority in DC.
Well, if you’ve been watching some of his recent hearings (where he is chairman, he’s looks really GOOD .. and in charge.
