Well, I think I use startpage but if you have a “smart phone” a lot of what mrs. rktman looks up on hers was in the google history. Which is now empty. I think. LOL! I bookmarked the page I used to get started. Here’s the link.

You may have to log in if you have a goggle account.

Just ‘deleted’ all...(yeah, sure) The Borg knows everything about you. The Borg is insidious to the max.

Note to All:
Just tried to delete my history but, it appears I haven’t any.
I suspect this feature is for deleting history on your devices such as cell phone, computers and tablets.
I already had my browser set to delete on exit so, of corpse, nuttin showed up.
This does not delete your history within Google’s cloud or servers.
What they are promoting is a feature that already exists.
Nothing earth shattering and besides, to delete your browsing history from Google servers would be a violation of the 1996 Telecom Act and CALEA.
moving on...

Hilarious. Feel free to delete away, but No Such Agency already has it archived.

But Google’s Webpage says:
Only you can see your history
Mine already says:
[Turn Web History On] or [No thanks]
I assume that means it’s already turned off.

It’s likely Google is doing this in response to European privacy guardians. They may also be doing it to frustrate the NSA given that Google is currently engaged in a legal battle with the NSA over those SOB’s demanding access to ALL information - not just the info of suspected criminals.

And then it turned out that the last time I actually used Google search was last year when I stopped using Firefox because of the Brandon Eichs fiasco. I had an extension that sent bogus searches to Google every few moments just for the purpose of burying any real searches I might have made.
But I deleted it all anyway. Google does not even deserve my sneers.
To: rktman
It's all a bit strange to me. I often do searches on my smart phone when I need simple answers or map locations. When I am done I close the page and then to be sure I hold the control button at the bottom of the screen until it shows all the pages that are still open. Then I delete them (Close All) in order to stop consuming allowable data. I have learned that even after turning my phone off those pages are still there, so now the first thing I do in the morning is close them all again.
1. This stuff never goes away
2. I wonder who is keeping track of it all
3. I fear I am someday going to be exposed for buying so many golf balls

nully,
I won’t use google or gmail. They’re just spy agencies! Before that big East Coast storm, I suggested, in a gmail, that my friend in NJ get a home generator. The next news site I went to, the whole right side was ads for home generators! No more gmail! I use Ixquick. Good privacy policy, no cookies no tracking my IP.
