A "Saturday Night Live" skit about a male student having sex with his female high school teacher painted the relationship as every teen boy's dream, but drew a firestorm of criticism on social media. The reaction to the comedy sketch reflected a growing view among law enforcement and victims' advocacy groups that it is no laughing matter when a woman educator preys on her male students. In U.S. schools last year, almost 800 school employees were prosecuted for sexual assault, nearly a third of them women. The proportion of women facing charges seems to be higher than in years past, when female teachers often got a pass, said Terry Abbott, a former chief of staff at the U.S. Department of Education, who tracked the cases.

Check the numbers on teacher molestation cases and you find they are the most dangerous child predators in our society, by a huge margin. Many (if not most) cases go unreported as well.
I grew up in a very small town and during my high school years we had 3 teachers fired for messing with kids. 2 went to jail. One, I don’t know what happened to him. There were rumors that we had a fourth, but no one ever came forward.
This would seem to be easily settled by a survey of teen boys.
Wouldn't make it right, but could settle whether teen boys are dreaming about it.

Especially now that it is happening far more than ever, and that these “females” are completely brazen about it.
This needed to be shut down hard before the next generation of tramps got out of college and into a classroom with all of the perverted garbage their heads were filled with, and their inability to mature past 16 years old.
I have no idea why some people think that because they are teen boys, that somehow they are some sort of studs that are just showing how “manly” they are by getting naked with an adult teacher!

I remember this one teacher. Man she was hot. No, I’m glad nothing ever happened. Very glad. But if it had, in the short run I’d have not been negatively impacted. The long run, now that’s another story.
You are correct that this is no laughing matter, but I see where these guys are coming from. Being a man, I know the heart of man.
I don’t really want to hijack the thread but I’m wondering what is the correct way to crack down on an English teacher who is teaching liberalism? My daughter is in an AP English class and her instructor is always condemning corporate America. She had to watch some video about how evil Sea World is for three days. What is the correct response.
The age cutoffs are absurd. You’re not going to convince me there’s harm from age 16 on up for males or females. I simply don’t believe it exists, at least from the sex itself. Socialization harm, educational interruption, power dynamics manipulation, I can see. Rape and molestation? No. Not at those ages.
Yeah. Evaluation of the social effect of this phenomena should extend beyond what a teenage boy thinks he wants.
For what it is worth, I have issue with teachers (male or female) having sex with high school/middle school/elementary schools students. In today’s world, we have pushed aside the “old rules of conduct” for “newer, free rules of conduct”. A teacher is in a position of authority. They are educators. Children till the age of 18 are “under” them in power. It goes back to decorum. Yes, an old word. Decorum, professionalism, moral compass... all words of the past. So, IMHO.. for those who applaud it.. what about a doctor/patient? Lawyer/client? Minister/youth group kid? Cop/person he pulls over for a ticket? Where is the line drawn? Have we really reached a point in society where it is okay to bang whoever one chooses because it is what they want to do, or one is “hot”, or sex is just an act that everyone does?
I would be curious to know how many of the teachers caught fooling with their students were also teaching sex ed to them.
it’s a different world. Before too long this will be accepted and same sex “molestation” too. Look at the slipper slope we are on if you doubt this.

This is ridiculous. Just is. It is not the same when it is a teen male student and an attractive female teacher. Just isn’t. Women aren’t going to tell me something is to not true when I KNOW it to be otherwise.
