Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) thinks he knows something that you don't about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.
Bloomberg News' Dave Weigel reported Friday that Paul gave a speech to a pro-life group the day before in which Paul predicted the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation will soon be hit by a major scandal.
"There's going to be stuff coming out about the Clinton foundation and their donations from different companies that get special approval by the secretary of state. It's coming out in the next couple weeks," Paul said.
As Weigel noted, Paul has made similar predictions in the past. At an April 8 press conference, Paul told reporters that the coming scandal will "shock people" and undermine her presidential campaign.
"I think that there are things that went on at the Clinton foundation that are going to shock people. And I think they're going to make people question whether or not she ought to run for president," he said then.
Pressed for details, however, Paul wouldn't elaborate.
"Then it wouldn't be a secret!" he jokingly exclaimed. "It's coming soon."
Clinton has been dogged by questions about her foundation's fundraising practices. Paul and others have harshly criticized the $2 billion foundation for accepting donations from oppressive governments, and the foundation broke an agreement it had with the White House by accepting $500,000 from Algeria when Clinton was secretary of state.
My hope is that Hillary will spill the dirt she has on the administration in an escalating tit for tat exchange.

Nothing will derail the Hildebeest. A scandal-ridden Obamanation being elected twice is a strong indication all of Clinton’s baggage will be handled.
The days when we had an interested and informed electorate are well behind us. There will be no outrage. No one will care or even notice.
Hey, she was instrumental in the attempted Islamization of Egypt and no one asks her about it. Being buddy-buddy with Mohammed Morsi and Huma Abedin should be a major concern, but it’s completely ignored. Even Fox News ignores it!

there will be no political effect on Mrs. Bill. For those who would vote for her all these things just add to her “authenticity” and charm. And we are way past the republic now. Most voters vote as in the third world. Either they vote for the one who will give them the most stuff or they vote for the one who is closest to “the clan of tribe, however perceived. Principles, not having any correlation with what a politician says, are not a consideration.

I’ll bet I’m not the first on the thread to mention that I’ve heard this exact type of description tens of times regarding the Clintons.
I’ll be waiting for a long long long time...

Bread and circuses. The Clintons are not subject to laws. If they were, they’d have been locked up 20 years ago...if not sooner. I’m sick of all these Republicans playing these games. As if they had the guts to take down their political opponents...
