A Texas veterinarian was fired after a Facebook photo showing her with her "first bow kill" -- a local cat -- went viral.

Dr. Kristen Lindsey bragged online that she killed a "feral" cat in her neighborhood in Brenham. She posted a photo on Wednesday, which shows her holding up the dead cat by an arrow protruding from its head, according to KBTX.

You’re one of the poorest examples of a “human” to ever appear on the internet.

“I was born and raised on a small SW Texas ranch owned and worked by two generations of our family-it is worked by three now. No one killed feral cats then-they were fed so that they stayed in and around the barn to keep rats and mice out of the livestock feed so that poison was not used. And loose pet dogs and cats became predator dinners, just like they do now.

I still live in the country-always will-and people here don’t kill feral cats, still keep them for rodent control-it is safer than poisons around livestock and feed.

Cats kill birds-always have-but they don’t fly, so there are still plenty of birds-I feed them all-and I haven’t heard that any birds are going extinct from cat predation. I’ve never shopped at Needless Markup, I do my own nails and I make my own coffee-organic Columbian blend...”

You’re waay too normal and decent a person to waste your time on this sack of offal calling himself “dinodino”...
he merely a sick cat hater.

Sorry that my insult of President Obama offended you. Perhaps you would find a more sympathetic audience at your local DNC headquarters.

Geez, that was weird—your post showed as under another thread when I replied. Disregard the Obama thing.

Yeah, because it’s irrelevant...I’m as conservative and rabidly anti-Obama as you can get, yet I also don’t fall in line with certain “conservatives” who have such a blatantly cruel disregard for animal welfare and rights. This evil “veterinarian” bitch should be run out of the damned country as far as I’m concerned.

I wouldn’t have shot the cat with an arrow, nor would I have bragged about it online.

Do you put a collar on your cat? Do you spay, neuter, and vaccinate your pets? If you are not doing these things, you are an irresponsible pet owner.

Both of my cats are indoor..neutered, collared....never a hint of trouble to any other human being. I keep them sheltered, and have done so for their entire lives.

Well, years ago (like 30 years) in my small town in north central Texas, we had a neighborhood cat that we pretty wild.

He would come into our garage at night, terrorize our cats and eat their food.

I caught him one night there, closed the door before he could get out, and then proceeded to beat him around with a broom.

He was dazed at the end of it and I literally opened the garage door and swept him out onto the drive way.

I thought that would fix it.

Nope. A week later, one of my young children left our front door open as we went to church and when we got home, here came Mr. Wild Cat slinking out of our house as we pulled up.

He had gone into our bedroom and scented my side of the bed.

Next day he was slinking by our back yard and as soon as I saw him he got an immediate taste of some 20 gauge 6 shot.

Problem solved.

It too was not too pretty...but nothing a burlap sack and a trip to a nearby river did not take care of.
