Walker Support Solid, Establishment Favorite Bush Struggles in N.H.
Breitbart Big Government ^ | April 17, 2015 | Mike Flynn

Posted on 04/17/2015 8:56:11 AM PDT by Cincinatus' Wife

As the Republican presidential candidates gather this weekend in New Hampshire, they’re all chasing a midwestern governor.

The latest survey of New Hampshire Republicans, by liberal-leaning Public Policy Polling, finds Wisconsin’s Scott Walker with a strong lead at 24 percent, followed by a rising Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. Establishment favorite Jeb Bush is currently mired in fourth place, with 10 percent support, a drop from the last PPP poll of the first-in-the-nation primary state.

Other polls show the race remains tight. The RealClearPolitics average has Walker at 19 percent, followed by Bush at 15 percent and Sen. Rand Paul at 12 percent. That tracks closely with a REACH Communications survey also completed this month. In that poll, Walker leads at 22 percent, followed by Bush at 16 percent and Paul at 15 percent.

Still, Jeb Bush’s exploratory campaign may be answering a call no one has made.

[snip]

Walker’s favorables among “very” and “somewhat” conservative voters are the highest of all candidates, followed closely by Cruz. Jeb Bush does best among “somewhat” liberal Republican voters. Chris Christie dominates polling among the “very” liberal GOP voters, a very small universe.

Walker and Paul do best among female Republican voters. Jeb Bush is a distant seventh among female voters in N.H., tied with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

Among Tea Party Republicans, 32 percent support Walker and 25 percent support Cruz. The rest of the field trails these two badly.

Media to the rescue! Local channel 9 was 'covering' the GOP Summit here in soviet Red Hampshire, but out of the nineteen possible candidates, but which one gets a separate news story running several minutes long all to himself?

You got it. Jeb Bush. Pataki even got some face time. Cruz? Didn't even here his name mentioned.

Soviet Red Hampshire is trying to set the RINO table for a Democrat victory once again. Don't any eggs in this blue states' basket.

Encouraging.

Jebster ought to ask for his money back from Juan McCain for his crappy advise about running without conservative support and just leave the race now.

It will be interesting to see what the establishment does this year. A pattern of 30 years (having a non-popular establishment candidate run out the clock against a clown car filled with awful non-establishment candidates), has broken. Two top tier alternatives, and a number of arguably decent 2nd tier alternatives, creates a fundamentally different environment for the GOPe. The party is shifting towards the Reagan disciples (politicians who spent their youth and young adult-hood with Reagan as the titan of the Republican party), and it will get increasingly difficult for the establishment to hold them off, at least in the presidential primaries.

My guess is that they will stick with Bush as long as possible. The alternatives (primarily Fiorina and Christie, with possibly Romney), are pretty much non-starters. If Bush stumbles to a point that his financial advantage becomes irrelevant, I suspect the GOPe will try to co-opt Rubio and use him as a way to fend off Walker and Cruz. If Rubio fails to gain traction, which is probable, the GOPe will settle on Walker, as the lesser of two evils, from their vantage point. The one certainty is that, if Cruz wins the primary, he will be battling both the Democrat party, and the bulk of the Republican party establishment, when he gets to the general.

Cruz will have the full opposition of the Republican establishment, until he has decisively won re-election in 2020. At which point, the Republican establishment candidates will be stumbling over themselves to proudly proclaim that they were Cruz Republicans, all along.

Jeb isn’t gaining traction but fortunately, the establishment’s ace in the hole is gaining ground.

I am glad to hear this.

Unfortunately, too many states have open primaries and Hillary Clinton doesn’t have any serious challengers.

Expect lots of liberals to taint the GOP primary election.

The time to take out Jeb Bush is NOW.

“The time to take out Jeb Bush is NOW.”

Yes. Yes. Yes.

He thinks if he can hang on ‘till the “winner take all” Florida primary, that he’ll have a pile of delegates in his pocket - possibly enough to generate buzz and push through.

I think Heb (Mexican pronunciation of Jeb) Bush should get a armoured van and travel around to fast food joints. Heb Bush could meet ordinary people and learn about American culture.

George W. Bush got crushed in NH in 2000.

This is, in no way, shape, or form, Bush country.

“Walker and Paul do best among female Republican voters”

It’s embarrassing to be female during election time.

I guess those females want amnesty and the inevitable consequences - their kids can’t get jobs because they can’t speak the language of the criminal invaders, their kids get neglected at school because teachers are struggling to get those that can’t speak English up to speed, their kids will be discriminated against when competing for jobs or entry into a school because the standards are so much lower for those ‘minorities’ - even when the whites are the numerical minority.

Think I’m kidding? I escaped mexifornia because of all that, and much much more.

Coming to YOUR state if you elect one of these amnesty politicians - and there will be nowhere else to escape to.

Better still, Jeb should abandon his plans to run for President of the US, and find a job with the council of La Raza, perhaps as their official House Gringo in charge of community outreach.
