Bump for later.
Here is the title of the thread: Compare and contrast: Same TV reporter approaches Hillary Clinton and Marco Rubio
When one does a fair comparison and contrast, one makes the same approach in each instance to be compared and contrasted. The fact that the title cites that it was the same reporter suggests the same approach to both candidates. It wasn't. With Rubio it was a friendly approach. With Hillary, he starts with talk about lost emails in the first sentence, which (given the facts) is a hostile approach. Hillary then has no choice but to smile and clam up, which she did, lest she self-incriminate.
This was an opportunity to respond to low info TMZ viewers, and exposed her strategy to ignore the popular media. Big mistake.
BS. Given the question it was an opportunity either to come clean and betray herself, or deflect and ultimately stonewall and nothing else, as talking to the reporter would allow him to pursue the line of questioning. At that point she would be simply supplying more ammunition to the enemy no matter what she said. Better to smile and give him nothing.
