Chris Christie took a centrist tone on guns Wednesday, calling for the “right balance” between gun control and the Second Amendment.
“We’ve got to make sure we have public safety, but on the other hand we have to protect people’s rights both as sportsmen and hunters and for self protection too, find the right balance,” Christie told a group of New Hampshire voters at Chez Vachon in Manchester, according to New Jersey newspaper The Record.

“....shall not be infringed.” is all I need. No mention of balance here.
We remind these idiots constantly that the Second Amendment is not about hunting, it’s about prevention of tyranny. Their listening skills are very poor. I can think of a very direct reminder that they will never forget.

Balance? The balance between obeying the Constitution and not obeying the Constitution is always not obeying the Constitution. The balance between virtue and vice is always vice. The balance between good and evil is always evil. The whole idea, “you can exercise your rights, but only in the way we decide”, is “you can’t exercise your rights.” This isn’t difficult.

Ken I believe it is reasoned to have laws. I certainly don’t agree with all of them. I do believe this is a reasoned law. You’re welcome to believe otherwise.
That doesn’t mean that I don’t think the Tenth applies in other good ways. I don’t believe it precludes the government being right about ruling that pot is illegal.
Thus, I do not believe that space is blank.
