Gov. Susana Martinez of New Mexico was endorsed as “Mama Grizzly” by Sarah Palin in 2010. Is she Conservative enough to be on the GOP Ticket in 2016? Here are her views on issues important to Conservatives:
Immigration: Stop the magnet for human trafficking, fraud and crime. (Jan 2013). Secure border; deny licenses & tuition to illegals. (Nov 2010)
Gun Control: At age 18, carried gun as security guard for dad's company. (Aug 2012) Opposes restrictions on the right to bear arms. (Aug 2010)
Abortion: Per The Christian Coalition Voter Guide, Martinez opposes abortion. Opposes a woman’s unrestricted right to abortion and opposes government funding abortions.
Gay Marriage: Per The Christian Coalition Voter Guide, Martinez strongly opposes same-sex marriage. Strongly Supports Amendment to prevent same sex marriage:
Health Care: Opposes Government-run Health care.
Expanding the Military: Provide more jobs & build more cemeteries for veterans, Protect government jobs at our labs and military bases, $1,000 tax credit for hiring returning veterans
As a New Mexican, I agree.
Is she hot?
If those are her true beliefs then I agree she would be an asset to the GOP ticket.
While I agree she is eminently qualified for the veep slot, I don’t see the Republicans running an all Hispanic ticket.
Yet New Mexico took the money and opened a healthcare exchange.

She is an attractive Latina. Compare her to Hillary or Lizzie...... no contest.

Yeah; I’ve thought much about that. I really like the lady, and I think a female on the Ticket would be an asset, but, no way I’d sacrifice Ted Cruz for her to have the VP slot with someone else.

she could lose a few pounds, but probably a good compromise between not alienating the ladies and getting the Laz vote.
