This is typical Sharpton. Does anyone recall back in the 90s when Al Sharpton went on a hunger strike to protest a Naval bombing range on an island off Puerto Rico? It lasted about a week and he actually didn't lose any weight. Later, the news leaked out he was eating chicken soup for the week.

Sorry, not eating in shifts isn't a hunger strike. Gandhi, that was a hunger strike, Bobby Sands was a hunger strike. This is just the equivalent of the Slim-Fast diet.
