Lawsuit alleges suspect wasn’t a threat when he was shot in the back
Allegations of excessive force used on minorities are mounting against the South Carolina police officer recently caught on video fatally shooting unarmed suspect Walter Scott in the back.
Julius Garnett Wilson alleges in a new lawsuit that he was tased by officer Michael Slager last August while lying face-down on the pavement.

I consider that justified. If he’s not cooperating, taze him.
What would have happened if he took off in the car and had a high speed chase? Innocent people could have been killed.

True but they shouldn’t have had to pull him from the car. He wasn’t cooperating. He should have been tazed.
I won’t defend him shooting the guy in the back in the other video.

Why was he pulled from the car? He had a valid license, what was he being arrested? Because he had a past police record? No, Slager is nothing more than a thug with a badge.
In watching that video, it is interesting that Slager shot his Taser in the suspect, then reholstered the Taser. The wires would still have been attached to the Taser, and that may be the wires seen in the newer video that some claim is proof that Scott shot Slager with his own Taser.

Was he suspected of drinking? On drugs? I don’t know and neither do you.

During the scuffle? So the cops got bad info and arrested him.
And while they had him pinned on the ground, arresting him, slager decided he needed to taze him.
Possible, but he did it all one handed and I believe it takes two hands to eject and reload the front cartridge.
The driver instigated the confrontation by refusing to get out of his car. He picked the wrong time to argue his case. The cop might be a thug but I don’t see him acting like one in that video.

Yep. Truth gets in the way of a good story.
A lot of guys here wouldn’t live long in that profession. They would learn to take more of an offensive posture or would be dead. You’re dealing with thugs like this all the time. Many of them will kill you if you get in their way.
The common thread through all these cases is that throughout this great nation of ours, vicious racist cops are profiling worthy young male African-American citizens as they go about the Lord's Work, Invariably the deceased victims of this heinous police abuse are on their way from a creative session at a RAP music studio to a Meals-on-Wheels Center to pick up the hot trays for elderly white shut-ins, or on their way to Nuclear Physics classes at the local CC, or trying to fit Bible Study into their hectic schedules. By golly, they are hard-pressed to even find the time to update their FB and Twitter feeds ... much less spend quality time with their baby mommas or the kids!
Yes, many of these victims of racism have had numerous run-ins with the racist "justice" system in the past, but as the attorneys for the "family" make abundantly clear in the civil suits that inevitably follow the outrageous racial incidents, the victims had "turned their lives around."
Just BTW, the toxicology reports that find illegal drugs in the systems of the victims are also racist.
I agree. The cops did nothing wrong. The thug is an opportunist and the lawyer is a bottom feeder.
