President Obama says he wants Congress to play a role in approving a nuclear deal with Iran, but his every action suggests the opposite. After months of resistance, the White House said Tuesday the President would finally sign a bill requiring a Senate vote on any dealand why not since it still gives him nearly a free hand.
Modern Presidents have typically sought a Congressional majority vote, and usually a two-thirds majority, to ratify a major nuclear agreement. Mr. Obama has maneuvered to make Congress irrelevant.

From wikipedia:
After the fall of the Roman Republic, the constitutional balance of power shifted from the Roman senate to the Roman emperor. Though retaining its legal position as under the republic, in practice, however, the actual authority of the imperial senate was negligible, as the emperor held the true power in the state. As such, membership in the senate became sought after by individuals seeking prestige and social standing, rather than actual authority.

This “agreement” requires 2/3 of the Senate or it is void. The House has no authority here.

If it’s not a treaty and or if it’s not ratified by two-thirds of the senate, it’s not binding on the U.S. government. It’s just an agreement between private citizen Barack Obama and Iran.

Tradition says that Tiberius as often as he left the Senate used to exclaim in Greek, "How ready these men are to be slaves." Clearly, even he, with his dislike of public freedom, was disgusted at the abject abasement of his creatures.

Can u recall a senator in TN? Elected federal officials cannot be recalled. There is no provision for such an action in the Constitution.
