According to the last two ABC News/Washington Post polls, conducted by Langer Research Associates, the former Florida governor trails Clinton with registered Hispanic voters 71-26, a margin of 3-1 -- nearly the same margin by which Hispanics supported President Obama over Mitt Romney in 2012.

Poll is a few days old, but I hadn't heard about it until it was discussed on the Laura Ingraham Show this morning. Couldn't find that it had been posted at FR.

But the poll shows Hillary beats Jeb 71%-26% among Hispanics, about the same level of support as Mitt Romney won in 2012. No RINO will ever out-pander Jeb Bush among Hispanics and this poll indicates what all the pandering has won in terms of support. Nothing, not one percentage point gained over previous Republican candidates.

Maybe the survey is accurate. Or, maybe the true depth of Jeb’s pandering hasn’t sunk in yet.

Either way, he’s toast and should find another hobby.

Yeah, if there’s one thing Hispanic people go for, it’s a crazy Anglo grandma hectoring them while standing on top of a pile of money.

There's a battle brewing between Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush over who is best-positioned to help the GOP make inroads with Latino voters, a crucial voting bloc for the party if it hopes to win the White House in 2016.

Fromn a new topic, four threads up. I've got my doubts that any Republican candidate can make serious gains among Hispanics this election cycle. Best bet would be to forget about pandering with amnesty promises and talk about the other issues that concern Hispanics and most all Americans.

Nationally hispanics are about 8% of registered voters. Why the hysteria about them when blacks vote 98% D and are roughly the same numbers of registered voters?
More than half of those registered hispanic voters, who are citizens, oppose amnesty for illegal aliens as strongly as we do. The Ministry of Propaganda would have us think differently.

Republicans win on standing for the rule of law.
With any citizen.

Republicans cannot pander to traditionally democrat people groups and win.

Better to focus on improving the lives of *ALL* American *CITIZENS*, rather than pandering to this or that identity politics group.

Who knew? “Free $h*t Uber Alles” trumps a Mexican wife, the ability to speak Spanish or a Hispanic bloodline every time!

Looks like several who have commented are in agreement. I don’t think, of the Hispanics a Republican candidate might move from the Dim column, that those Hispanics would care all that much about amnesty. They’d be more interested in the economy, education and other issues that affect all citizens.

Leftists and Rinos like to use amnesty as a club to try and force conservatives to support it, but I don’t believe supporting amnesty will move many votes in the coming presidential election. But it is a major part of the Dim party voter recruitment efforts.

I wouldn’t be surprised if JB trailed HC among Republicans.

JB, why in the hell are you running? Go away.

Bush versus Clinton

That's akin to an Andy of Mayberry rerun going up against a Gilligan's Island rerun.

My point: The RERUN has the SAME script plot it has ALWAYS HAD and there is NO way to change it because it's a RERUN and the outcome is ALWAYS the SAME.

That's Bush versus Clinton. A continuation of the ONE PARTY system.

Jeb Bush and Rove and some other of the GOPe probably will. But I think they more take everyone else for granted than forget about them. The GOPe still won't admit how much damage their candidates do by causing several million conservative voters to sit out presidential elections.

Yep, but unfortunately, that doesn't stop some of them from trying, and from blowing presidential elections because their pandering costs several times more votes than it could possibly win.

For what it’s worth. Ted Cruz won his Texas Senate seat with 43% of the Hispanic vote.

Whether that percentage can be duplicated in a nationwide presidential race, who knows.
