That is not as stupid a question as it first sounds. Ostensibly we know her four ready answers.
I. Who Else?
One, there is no other credible Democrat who could run for presidency. The senior party leadership — Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Al Gore, John Kerry, and Dianne Feinstein — is shrill and buffoonish. They all have either tried before and failed, or are ossified has-beens — or both. There are no up-and-coming governors with distinguished records of executive success. There are no young charismatic Democratic senators — other than the well-preserved, 65-year-old Harvard populist Elizabeth Warren — out to make a name, who can speak well and mirror image a Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, or Mario Rubio. Congressional-district gerrymandering that encourages ethnic chauvinism and hard-left polarization has almost ensured that there will not be another minority star, like Barack Obama, who can win crossover votes and statewide office as a springboard to the White House

O'Malley is a typical tax-and-spend liberal, with the emphasis on tax. Heck, he even taxed the rain here! He only won because Maryland is a deep blue state, but by the end of his term, he was hated by so many people that we elected a REPUBLICAN Governor to replace his hand-picked successor. He is also vehemently anti-Second Amendment!
IMO where money kicks in is with the Clinton hangers on, just as with all campaigns—such as the Romney operatives even now.
They make millions off of their cut of the advertising and always want to be in the mix for that—and then maximize the amount spent on advertising for the same reason.
Thus they always tell their “properties” that they are competitive and that they can and must raise gargantuan amounts of money.
As a downside consolation are they pointing out that unspent funds can go right into the Clinton slush fund? Sure, I imagine so. But I don’t think that is the motivating factor for Hillary, at least, to condescend to offering us another opportunity to have the benefit of her presidency.
Because she would give her left nut to be president. It’s all she ever wanted.
Just as Scarlett O'Hara, she vows never to be poor, ever again. There's a certain kind of power and satisfaction that comes with having more money than God...and it's not subject to the whims of the electorate.

People, don’t count out John “Lurch” Kerry or Joe Biden. If Hillary stumbles, these are the type of people in the Democratic party that could get a viable campaign together fast and have the clout to do it.
Personally, I’d love to see Algore run, but his politic days are behind him I believe.
