Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” the co-managing editor of Bloomberg Politics John Heilemann said he was shocked when he learned from a new Bloomberg poll that 42 percent of Republicans “said they would never consider voting for Jeb Bush.”

Heilemann said, “We have a Bloomberg politics poll that just came out. We have a viability question. We went to people not to the horse race would you considerably, might consider, never consider,” he explained among “Republicans and independents, 42 percent said they would never consider voting for Jeb Bush. That was a big, that was a shocking number to us.”

He added, “A large number of people in the Republican electorate say they are done with him, they do not want a Bush on the ticket.”

Just great! </sarcasm> This means the GOP-E is sure to double down on making sure that Bush is the nominee.

Which why the Democrats so desperately want him to be the GOP nominee.

And 42 percent of Dems will vote for the Dem candidate, even if it was a warm bowl of water... So he would need to get all of the other 58% of the GOP voters (a tall task), as well as at least 43% of all Dem voters (assuming the two groups are roughly equal in size)... which means he will have to go racing to the Left, which means he will lose more of that 58% GOP... meaning he will need more than 50% of the Dem votes... which means he will probably be better served taking on Hillary in the Dem Primaries

Now, IF he switched parties, and made a run at the Dem nomination, now THAT is a story I'd love to read, and it would be a primary campaign that I would donate to!!!

it’s even worse than that: a full 100% of me will not consider voting for a potential Bush3.

I too hope Jeb isn’t the Republican candidate in 2016, but if the race is between Jeb and Hillary, I sure as Shiite ain’t staying home on election day.

I will not vote for more of the same. Count me in the 42%.

Turn the ship or sink it. Bush is more of the same and will only be demorat lite.

No wonder Jeb Clampett Bush is going after the Hispanic(Legal and Illegal)
vote. That is about the only group he has left.

I would not vote for Bush under ANY circumstance.

Do you hear us Rove and GOPe’s?

And that’s exactly what concerns me in the open primary states. Look, I do not put it past Karl Rove to robocall Democrats and get them to turn out for Bush. Hillary is their nominee, what do Democrats have to lose to crossover and vote for Bush? They did it in Mississippi.

There’s another 58% who will make him the nominee. I’ve seen this script before, and i work in Hollywood.

I won't stay home either. I just won't vote for any liberal, either Jeb or Hillary.

There are a lot of down-stream elections that I will be voting on.

I darn sure won't vote (R) because he's the only one left standing.

if the race is between Jeb and Hillary, I sure as Shiite ain’t staying home on election day.

We've brought this scenario upon ourselves. If we'd never voted for RINOs to begin with, there'd now be no RINOs to vote for.

If we want a better quality of public officers, we have got to quit allowing ourselves to be browbeaten and scared into voting for people we loathe.

It's just that simple.

Oddly, they do, finally, which is why they’re utterly silent on Ted Cruz’ declaration.

Not a single member of the gop-eSTAB has commented on Cruz. Maybe they think he’ll ‘just go away’ LOL

Does anybody really believe the American people are going to elect a third Bush in less than 30 years?

And if not, what does that say about who the people backing Jeb and funding his campaign really want to win the presidency in 2016?

I don't mind voting for someone I loath... as long as they are really conservative.

If they support gun control, illegal immigration, socialized medicine, bigger government, or same-sex marriage, they certainly won't get my vote.
