Full Title: Hillary Clinton delays online launch of presidential campaign for hours to 'build anticipation' and will hit the trail quietly in Iowa

Announcement to come via Twitter and an online video

Was expected at noon but party insiders now say the suspense is intentional

Hillary will start her 'listening tour' in Iowa and New Hampshire without huge fanfare

Wunderkind campaign manager, 35, was a child when she was first lady and didn't live through her defining White House scandals

Tough road ahead fighting with other Democrats as her poll numbers begin to slide and liberals question whether she's 'inevitable'

Hillary Rodham Clinton was expected to launch her long-awaited presidential campaign on Sunday during the hours of the day when she could expect the least immediate pushback – while most Americans were in church.

The campaign's internal schedule had called for a 12:00 noon tweet linked to a video revealing the worst-kept secret in America to more than 3 million online followers.

But shortly after noon, Democrat operatives in Iowa began telling reporters that there would be a delay. 'She's taking her time,' one told Daily Mail Online, 'trying to build anticipation.'

Hillary must still be nursing that early Sunday morning hangover.

Oh!
Kind of like taking thirty five Imodium pills to build something else?
Same effect.

Hillary must still be nursing that early Sunday morning hangover.

IIRC, it's going to be on Twitter and will link to a video already taped.

And I don't know about you guys but I am simply bursting with anticipation LOL.

Yeah, sometimes you just need to build up more back pressure to expel a big tough turd.

Heh, building anticipation. More like “created lots and lots of online sock puppet accounts to storm social media.”

I won’t say Hillary! is done, not by a long stretch. But the Warren fever is raging in squalid places like HuffPo, Vox and the like. It’s almost cult-like in many cases. “Warren’s the only one who can save us!”, etc.

"Wunderkind campaign manager, 35, was a child when she was first lady and didn't live through her defining White House scandals"

Sounds like he should grow up.

Are people stupid enough to fall for this crap? Obama was/is many things, but his campaign did not have this fakery associated with it. It was a well-run machine.

The first thing you do when you mess up publicly (and embarrassingly) is say you meant to do it.

It’s what a 3rd grader does anyway.

I would not be scared to say that Warren would probably own Hillary in a debate.

Thousands of us have a notice appear on our phones when her staff tweets the declaration on Twitter. I have my questions all ready in my drafts. This should be fun.

Delaying a launch to build anticipation...another old trick in the Clinton playbook. According to Monica, Bill used that one all the time.
