Didn’t Lincoln say that people are as happy as they make up their mind to be? I think there is a lot to that. Some people have it all, looks, talent, money, brains and still kill themselves. Some others seem to be perfectly happy as long as they have the barest necessities and are still breathing.

I hope he at least is smart enough to get out of debt. I have been amazed at how many people I have known who were past sixty who have said they can never retire because they couldn’t meet their mortgage and car payments. No one at that age should owe money on anything that is not making its own payments. A rental house okay, a new vehicle no, unless you use it to make a lot of money. Anyone who takes a second mortgage on his dwelling and uses the proceeds to buy a new boat is insane but some will do it.

on the female side; the women are too busy with careers, climbing the corporation ladder, they can jet off to the tropics, and have all the sex they want....on the male side, they are unmotivated; can have all the sex they want, no need to get married, the other issue is money, can't have a hot car and holidays in the south and expect to buy a home...
