SACRAMENTO -- Slamming the Republican Congress for dropping the ball on immigration reform, Democratic legislative leaders on Tuesday unveiled a sweeping package of bills that would dramatically expand protections for illegal immigrants far beyond what's offered by any other state.

The 10 pieces of legislation would offer state-subsidized health care coverage to the undocumented poor, make it illegal for businesses to discriminate against customers based on their immigration status or the language they speak, and make it harder for federal authorities to deport immigrants living here illegally.

So any state in the nation can make up it’s own foreign policy?

I wish red states would pass laws doing the opposite. No welfare for illegals, no drivers licenses, no jobs, no housing, no medial. If we do that then 30 states would have a no illegal alien allowed sign.

You know what sad....I know were that photo was taken because it has become very famous ...

And it was done by students from my old high school...

I had seen this coming in Califorina because i saw the start back in the 60 / 70’s in my neighborhood..La Raza is nothing new...

Everybody remembers the black riots of the sixties and seventies but no one recalls the brown riots in the sixties and seventies...who remembers Ruben Salazar? all that happened in my neighborhood

try to warn people even here and they wouldn’t listen

Californias last hope was during the McClintock Arnold election battle....we were done when we lost that to the RINO

Oh hell, here in Kalifornia, we have municipalities who think they can do that!

Santa Cruz routinely spouts off about World Issues, and most of the idiots there haven't been East of Modesto in their lives.

We did in California in 1994!

It was called Prop 187.

THE VERY SAME PEOPLE DOING THIS NOW ARE THE PEOPLE WHO SCREAMED THAT "A STATE CANNOT MAKE AN IMMIGRATION LAW"!!

And one Federal Judge agreed with that, and threw out 187.

6 million people voted FOR it. It won 59-41.

And Kevin De Leon led a riot against it back then.

Not just one fed judge. It was the state conspiring with the fed co-conspirators who burned the ballots and declared the free election illegal.

We can now see the results of that government oppression from coast to coast.

Wouldn't that force them all to move to blue states like california?

Enjoy Kaliforniastan. I live in Alabama. THE MOST CONSERVATIVE state in the union. The 2d most Christian state behind Mississippi. If you can, get the hell out of that pig hole and come south.
