President Obama said in an interview broadcast Wednesday that his push to address climate change has been partly influenced by a frightening moment when his daughter Malia had an asthma attack as a 4-year-old.
“What I can relate to is the fear a parent has, when your 4-year-old daughter comes up to you and says, ‘Daddy, I’m having trouble breathing.’ The fright you feel is terrible,” the president said on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Wednesday.
“And if we can make sure that our responses to the environment are reducing those incidents, that's something that I think every parent would wish for.”

I don't believe the hospital story at all.
LOL in reality during an asthma attack she probably said “hnnhhhhh whhhnnnnyhhhh hhhhhhnnnn”
And daddy stood by her side and said....and when you're bigger, daddy will take you for your abortion.

Good point. Four year olds don't say "I'm having trouble". If she said it, and she didn't, it would have come out like "It's hard to breathe" or "I can't breathe."

Mold is worse than smoking IMHO.
I grew up in a non-smoking household and suffered from asthma for years. Emergencies in the middle of the night were frequent.
My 5 kids were raised in a household where both parents smoked, None of them got asthma.

The humidity in Washington D.C. must be terrible on his daughter. I think they should all just pack up and go to some remote desert in the SW. Heck - Kenya would be good too. For the sake of the children.
