“He (the cop) apparently was screaming Put your hands behind your back!!! to an unconscious or already dead man. Made for good theater though.”
I hope that they pass out the popcorn for the jury while the while they watch the video of the cop moving the evidence near the body. This guy is toast. He might literally be toast.
Murder yes. Not sure about 1st degree. But definitely murder.
I am coordinated enough to both film AND yell at the officer to tell him that someone (me) is watching him, and he better not fire his weapon, lest it go viral, and his life become ruined...
“he was delinquent on child support”
Wouldn’t be able to collect on that without the video, on account of being dead.
I’m sure that those kids will be able to afford college anywhere they are admitted after this.
Running away is not a threat to the officer.
He should not have been shot.

So, how good of a shot do you think that cop was? He demonstrated some pretty good marksmanship on that video, you know. Any sane person would STFU and run away broken-field.
I’m assuming you’re not a lawyer? Otherwise you would know the difference between first and second degree murder. This is second degree, tops.
Although I am curious what the thing is that falls away from the cop (behind him) just before he draws his weapon and fires. Unfortunately, the cop and shooting victim are obscured just before that moment. Did the guy go for the cop’s weapon, only to dislodge the taser, resulting in the cop reacting defensively?
If so, that’s clearly heat of the moment and 2nd degree tops. Either way, I have no clue how you could possibly say the cop’s actions were premeditated.
“at falls away from the cop (behind him) just before he draws his weapon and fires.”
Do you mean the thing he PUT BACK NEAR THE BODY? That thing?
I’m in awe of the guy who took the video. It took courage to keep filming while that was happening. And it took courage to keep staying visible when you think about how the cop could have turned on the video taker to take the camera.

+1. Actually, +more than that.
Because a deranged cop tazed him and was shooting at him?
So how do they end up in an open alleyway from a traffic stop, I wonder?
Yeah, but at that point the video taker could have just turned and run.
Oh, wait...
“Because a deranged cop tazed him and was shooting at him?”
I believe that is called “noncompliance” in cop talk.
That has to change - making it criminal for men to not pay up babymama. We started that to stop welfare. We said dads should pay for their own out-of-wedlock children; not the public.
We did not stop welfare and instead put a lot of men in the poor house and in prison. They become slaves to any slut’s uterus. Tax payers are still slaves to babymama’s welfare payments, too.
I understand that running away is not a threat. I have also read several stories of Police over reacting so why would you run away and give them a reason to over react.
I think there was a case where a crazy Vietnam Vet killed a cop in SC some years back. He got the death sentence of premeditated even though he was crazy amd didn't pull over anybody.
Yep. That thing.
That sounds like a misapplication of law.
... and perhaps murder the cameraman.
