This is being broadcast to show that Hillary does have feelings and did castigate Bill over his indiscretions.

Which is pretty good evidence that it is a lie. Besides, she knew what was going on. She permitted it. If she 'struck' him, it was over something else, not Monica.

Remember the black eye ? I believe that was a misinformation thing as well.

Based on the fact that the Clintons and their staff lie, I think they SAID it was an ashtray because they don't want us to know what it really was.

They were lying about the ashtray, and they are lying about the book (imho) and for the same reason.
