INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The state of Indiana is watching dueling GoFundMe campaigns after the firestorm of RFRA.

One was established for Memories Pizza and the other for LGBT youth in Indiana.

Memories Pizza is the Indiana pizza shop whose owners said their religious beliefs wouldn’t allow them to cater a gay wedding.

Their GoFundMe site, benefiting the restaurant had raised more than $550,000 as of Friday morning.

The Indiana Youth Group had a campaign established to raise funds that is in direct response to the Memories Pizza campaign.

As of Friday morning, they had raised $2,700.

Their GoFundMe site states that “Take a minute after you’re done trolling Memories on Yelp and being angry about it on Facebook and Twitter and put $1 where your mouth is and do something positive that will have a direct impact on LGBT youth in the state of Indiana.”

GoFundMe must be terrible for liberal causes ... I suspect the reason is because they are waiting on men with guns to take the money from someone else and put it in their GoFundMe account ...

We know where the Memories Pizza money is going to go. I wonder who gets the Indiana Freak Yoots money.

“put $1 where your mouth is”

LGBTEIEIO folks just shouldn’t be using expressions like that. Who knows where that dollar’s going to end up?

Sounds like someone is trying to get some easy money.

I really wish I had thought of that. I just hope that whoever is running the "help homosexual youth" scam is a conservative, and the money raised will go to conservative causes. Not that it will amount to much money, of course ...

Go here if you want to support:

I myself put in $25.00. Assuming others give like me, one can only think how many are actually giving.

I’m willing to bet some of the money the Memories Pizzeria has received came from Democrats. There are a quite a few Catholic and Protestant Democrats across the country, and while they support much of the party’s economic agenda, they do not approve of gay marriage or homosexuality in general. The Catholic church I went to growing up in Connecticut was heavily Democratic. They were union people of the hard hat variety and would rip your head off if you spoke glowingly of a Republican whom they regarded as rich snobs who hated working people. Yet, these were the same people who picketed an abortion clinic that opened up in our town and supported Anita Bryant when she got into trouble over her anti-gay remarks down in Florida back in the day. My point to all this is that not all Democrats are in lock step with their party when it comes to social issues. Yes, those dreaded social issues the RINOS keep telling us to forget about advocating. These are the Reagan Democrats and they’re looking for a leader as much as we all are too.

Only $2,700?

It looks like these LGBT folks are kinda cheap.

But even so, with conservatives being more generous with their donations ... with this recent big blow-up with the Pizza place, the following sentiment was said ...

— — —

“We have to accept Gay people, and I just ask that they accept us.”

— — —

I didn’t think it was a sentiment that would go over very well on Free Republic, from my observations here.

FOLKS,

Don’t be surprised IF the LGBT Youth Group eventually surpasses Memories Pizza in donations.

I would NOT be impressed if the LGBT youth group wins in dollar terms. All it takes is for Billionaires like Tim Cook and Bill Gates and the Hollywood types to donate a few million bucks and they’d overtake the small donations given by tens of thousands to Memories Pizza.

But then, we’d like to see HOW MANY are donating.

This is the MARKETPLACE OF IDEAS in action.

Here we have a despicable Gay Gestapo loving station that states it welcomes discussion. See the station advertising the LBGT site but nowhere can you find the site for the Memories Pizza contribution. Just another crap station with the credentials of of a cesspool.

When the pro-conservatism (not the same as pro-hate) crowd realizes there is more of themselves and less of the other faction than they thought... they will get bolder for their cause. This is another example of how the Lord puts silver linings in dark clouds.

Discussion as long as it all goes one way...

How about a good “QUIT THAT MEAN BEHAVIOR. BUGGERY IS MEAN AND YOU JOLLY WELL KNOW IT.”
