Teacher, 30, faces decades in prison after pleading guilty to 37 charges for having sex with three students and getting pregnant by one
A former Florida teacher accused of repeatedly having sex with at least three students has pleaded guilty to three dozen criminal counts.
Jennifer Fichter, 30, was set to attend a pre-trial hearing in Polk County Court Thursday morning, but instead she pleaded guilty to all 37 counts of unlawful sexual contact with a minor.
Each charge carries a maximum of 15 years in prison. Fichter's sentencing is scheduled for July 2.
Fichter taught English at Central Aerospace Academy in Lakeland but was fired after her arrest last April.

Wait a minute, wait just one freakin’ minute. ALL the “victims” were 17 years old? WHAT? So in other words they can join the Marines but if they have sex then they are “sexually abused”? Yeah, and winning the lottery is financial abuse. This is all about money, these 3 “innocent children” were having the time of their lives and now we got three 21 year old men making the ridiculous claim they were “sexually abused” Gee I wonder why? $$$$$$$$ Throw the teacher to the wolves so they can cash in. What a bunch of punks. I hope no jury or judge is falling for this BS.
As a former 17 year-old boy, I fail to see the great damage caused by these encounters. A breach of school policy, yes, but a penalty equivalent to a murder charge? Maybe we should simply stone her to death.
I just think it's very odd that suddenly there are dozens of such cases around the country where for centuries, you rarely heard of such a thing except as schoolboy fantasies.
It's kind of like the peanut-butter allergy that came absolutely out of nowhere. When I went to school, kids packed peanut butter sandwiches into their lunch boxes school and there was never one peep about some other student being "allergic" to it. In fact, we would have laughed that kid out of class because it would have sounded so ridiculous to us.
So, if a teacher was to ply her students with Reese's peanut cups in order to get them to have sex with her, would her prison sentence be double?

My brother had sex with his teacher when he was 17, this is way back in the 1970s. He even dated her when he graduated and I think they broke up when he was around 20 or 21. He even brought her over the house for dinner and my parents knew she was his former teacher. No big deal, he had the time of his life, he loved her and she was cool. This kind of stuff always went on in my opinion. It’s different today though because these guys find out they can sue for the ridiculous claim of “sexual abuse” and get a big payout, and being the greedy punks they are they say to hell with the teacher, throw her to the wolves so they can fill their bank accounts. That’s the real crime here.
Sounds like average horns teenage boy’s dream. Ridiculous. She should have been fired and banned from teaching. That is enough.
I wonder who is most outraged by these incidences? The feminists? Who is it that insists these older teenaged boys are “abused”?

there are female predators out there. She was going for the middle schoolers previously. At what age should teachers be able to sleep with students? The law defines it typically at age 17 or 18. If society think age of consent should change they should change it. A main issue isn't the "sex", its the misuse of a position of power. In other words, say the boss wants to sleep with you, whether you want to or not it is a problem because you are not on equal footing in the decision. And if you do sleep with the boss there are implications for all the other employees. Is it favoritism? Or will there be coercion for other employees to have sex with the boss too?
In my town a girl just came forward 4 years later that her 46 year old teacher had slept with her. At the time she didn't think it was wrong "because he loved her". He basically worked on "charming" her for years starting at age 15, then got her alone at a school club event at age 17 (which was the age of consent), that no one else "attended". (Which was set up by him as well). The long term damage is real even if she didn't recognize it initially. Once she came forward 2 other girls did as well. He was charged, even though she was at consenting age because the predatory physical contact started so young.
Besides, if society decides it is ok for female teachers to sleep with consenting male teenagers how long till certain male teachers claim the same right to "charm" their male students.

Supposedly, it comes from idiots trying to find an “all natural” alternative to regular old baby oil. Yup, they used peanut oil and those kids grew up with peanut allergies. So, if a person has peanut allergies, they’re probably children of crazy left-leaning hippies, anyway.
