The greatly anticipated “fix” to the Indiana religious freedom law has been released by the Indiana legislative committee, and it is far worse than conservatives feared.
According to law professor Mark Rienzi, the new fix will allow the state to prosecute Christians criminally for denying gay weddings their professional affirmation.
Rienzi, of the Becket Fund and Catholic University School of Law and who was lead attorney in the Hobby Lobby Supreme Court case that upheld a claim under the federal religious freedom law, said this would “criminalize religious objectors.”

Before its over, being a Christian will be punishable by death. All in the name of “justice” of course. As for religous “freedom”, no one will even be alowed to buy pizza without proclaiming that the world political leader is God.
Who then will remember America the freedom it once had to worship God the way you wanted, and who foolishly took the first step to slavery by redefining that to worship the God you wanted?

That’s what I noticed just before I left for school, so I didn’t post it. The language says you can’t deny service based on sexual orientation. That makes Sodomites officially a protected class. Where the laws implied that, this law makes it explicit. It’ll be cited by every slighted homosexual. The sponsors of the original bill are now sponsoring a bill that ensures that Christians will lose every case brought against them. If they vote against the bill, their talking points fall apart. Either way, they look really stupid. They’re going to look really stupid either way. They got rolled by the Sodom lobby and may not even know it yet.
By refusing to sign or veto this bill, Pence just made idiots out of all the people who voted for the original bill. If you live in Indiana, and you voted for Mike Pence because you thought he’d be better than a Democrat, well, he just made fools of all the conservative reps who took a lot of crap in supporting this bill.
It is not about appeasing the 2% or the muslims, it’s about destroying Christianity once and for all.
We shouldn’t have to rely on one man. Any citizen could do what he does, especially now that video cameras are so small and low in price.

Not just Indiana. But Arkansas’s Governor just returned the same bill back for re-write because Wal-Mart complained although I understand Wal-Mart would not state specifically what they were complaining about.

Noting that the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect gay agenda issues, Christians need to quickly get up to speed on the following. They need to study the Constitution, particulary Section 1 of the 14th Amendment, in order to protect their constitutional rights from the “Keystone Kops” leaders of their state since their leaders have evidently have not studied the Constitution which they have sworn to protect and defend.
The knee-jerk reaction of low-information state lawmakers to gay bullying concerning Indiana’s religious freedom law is that the law is now arguably in violation of Section 1 of the 14th Amendment.
Section 1 prohibits the states from making laws which unreasonably abridge the constitutionally enumerated rights of citizens, the 1st Amendment-protected freedom of religious expression in this case.
14th Amendment, Section 1:All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States [emphasis added]; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
Note that the “privileges or immunities” term which John Bingham, the main author of Section 1, used in that section is just another way to refer to constitutionally enumerated rights, most of these well-known rights, including 1st Amendment-protected freedom of religious expression, listed in the Bill of Rights.
If the low-information leaders of Indiana are an example of what’s going on in other state governments, it’s no wonder that the states lost control of the constitutionally limited power federal government.
No. The homos are only 2%, and that's only if you count the prison inmates who go homo if they want to have sex at all.
The homos are a very, very small number, but those who want to destroy America from within make a lot of noise to get people to believe their are thousands more of them.
Business's may get thousands of nasty emails for supporting marriage, but the actual number of people sending them may be less than a dozen. They just use spam mail. Even the politicians fall for this scam.
Rush is always getting spam mail. Once he decided to look into them. He found out the thousands of emails were coming from about three states and were all sent from about 10 people at the most.
The "outrage" over this right to religion thing isn't real. It's all spammed to make the politicians and business's think the majority is against them. They have no idea they're being massively deceived. When they lose the next election and the business's lose customers, they're baffled by it. They can't figure out what they did wrong.

I've had the same thought...Christian businesses vulnerable to sexual perversion attacks could make agreements with similar secular businesses to take client referrals and then when someone "requests" that the Christian "perform" services that are objectionable to the Christian's principles, the Christian can merely state that such services will gladly (or is it gaily?) be provided by an associate (thus, NO denial of service to the perverts!).
So in trying to fix a law that was poorly thought out to begin with they are going to make it worse? And remove the reason for the original law while they’re at it? Why am I not surprised?
