video:

The Justice Department has declined to pursue contempt of Congress charges against Lois Lerner for refusing to testify about her role at the IRS in the targeting of conservative groups.

The department announced the decision in a letter Tuesday to House Speaker John Boehner, whose Republican-controlled chamber made the request to prosecute, after holding Lerner in contempt for refusing to testify at committee hearings.

"Once again, the Obama administration has tried to sweep IRS targeting of taxpayers for their political beliefs under the rug,” Boehner spokesman Michael Steel told FoxNews.com.

So we must keep the pressure on to not let this slide when we have a GOP appointed AG.

This testimony issue is an outlier. Lerner persecuted religious people with her agencies actions. We are not even at the actual crime here and yet the criminals won’t even let us get to square one.

They dont have to, CONGRESS can do it on their Own!!

Congress has ALL the power in washington, the executive and judicial branch operate according to the whims of CONGRESS!

Congress can Remove the President
Congress can remove the head of every executive agency
Congress can remove ALL of their employees
Congress can Abolish every agency they so choose
Congress can remove EVERY JUDGE IN AMERICA, including every supreme court justice.
Congress can abolish every federal court except the supreme Court
Congress can decide which cases the Judicial Branch can hear and decide
CONGRESS can Imprison ANYONE they want for any reason they so desire for as long as they wish.
Congress can declare WAR

No other governing body has even 10% of the power CONGRESS has!!

CONGRESS IS ALLOWING ALL OF IT!!!

Congress has the authority to arrest and imprison those found in Contempt. The power extends throughout the United States and is an inherent power (does not depend upon legislated act)

If found in Contempt the person can be arrested under a warrant of the Speaker of the House of Representatives or President of the Senate, by the respective Sergeant at Arms.

Statutory criminal contempt is an alternative to inherent contempt.

Under the inherent contempt power Congress may imprison a person for a specific period of time or an indefinite period of time, except a person imprisoned by the House of Representatives may not be imprisoned beyond adjournment of a session of Congress.

Imprisonment may be coercive or punitive.

This was completely predictable. If she was prosecuted she might have decided to fire back at them in revenge and take them all down with her. The administration was never going to take that chance.

I figure Obama is going to issue blanket pardons to all muslim terrorists and shut down GITMO on his way out the White House door on January 20, 2017.

Yours is THE "nail-on-the-head" analysis put forth here.

Lerner was and is holding all the cards. No high bureaucrat in government knows more secrets, fraud, criminal action and an enormous range of shenanigans going on in governmental and political high echelons than an IRS chief......of any party.

Lerner can bring Obama, Holder and any number of tainted officials in the president's thugocracy down in a DC minute if she chooses.

However, in exchange for her silence, the Obama administration has guaranteed she continues to breath fresh air instead of eating prison fare.

This is Obama/Holder/Lerner crony-corruption of stratospheric proportions....a deliberate, insulting punch to the faces of our citizenry, and a stain on the history of our Republic, our laws....and our Constitution.

And they have NO shame about it at all.

OK. Let’s forecast what would happen if the Republicans just had her arrested.

The lawsuits start.
The press goes completely bonkers.
The Democrat Party threatens to throw every Republican in jail if they take back the house.
Every other political issue is ignored.
Protests begin to “Free Lerner”.
The UN calls Lerner “An American Political Prisoner”.
The meme “Republicans want to imprison women!” starts.

You have to do these things step by step. The Democrats will come on Free Republic and try to dishearten everyone. They can go see their Dad in hell.

Do this right.
