Obama Praises Ted Kennedy For 'Bridging' Partisan Divide
Truth Revolt ^ | 3/30/15 | Caleb Howe

Posted on 03/30/2015 3:38:28 PM PDT by absentee

In a speech this morning at the dedication of the new Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate, President Obama praised the late Senator effusively, citing his bipartisan creds and pondering what the world would be like if we all "carried ourselves more like Kennedy. (Oops, did we say "pond"?) The folks at Digitas Daily think Obama might have been well-advised to choose different words, though, when talking up Kennedy's reach across party lines.

"[Republicans] know who Ted Kennedy was. It's not because they shared Ted's ideology or his positions, but because they knew Ted as somebody who bridged the partisan divide over and over again."

Bridged? You gotta be kidding.

Funny video. Harsh graphic. Both both are good.

Bridging the partisan divide? The dolt couldn’t even bridge the stream on Chappaquiddick Island.

Bridges and Teddy, THE SWIMMER”, Kennedy shouldn’t be mentioned in the same sentence, in polite company by any DEM, who doesn’t want to be laughed at !

He had the wrong Kennedy. JFK was pragmatic and could get things through - Ted was popular only with the left and could only get along with GOP leftists.

That said, Teddy really was just a guy who wanted to have fun, not very bright and probably the worst of the Kennedys. Still, some not good but decent things probably did get through under him because his underlings told him what to do when he came back from his rapes and bashes at the Florida outpost.

more like Kennedy. (Oops, did we say "pond"?)...

The only kind of "pond" associated with "Dead" Kennedy, is "scum".
