Elizabeth Warren, in Edward Kennedy’s seat, displaces Obama as liberals’ champion
The Washington Times ^ | March 29, 2015 | By Ben Wolfgang

In early 2008 liberal icon Edward M. Kennedy blessed Barack Obama’s long shot presidential campaign, declaring the freshman Illinois senator the next great progressive leader in a symbolic passing of the torch.

On Monday, Mr. Obama heads to Massachusetts to honor Kennedy, who died in 2009 — but liberals’ enthusiasm for the president has waned from those days, and the left has moved on to other champions, most notably Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who now sits in the seat Kennedy used to hold.

I hope they at least shampooed the seat’s upholstery before Warren got it.

Because the msm is publicizing her. Very few outside of her state know who she is. Thanks to the media she will blast onto the scene as the obvious choice with nary an accomplishment to her name.

Like someone else we know.

Democrats are just trying to set up the new puppet as if she is inevitable and popular. Outside of political junkies and Massachusetts no one knows her.

If Lizzie Fauxcahontas does start to gain traction, what will Hillary do?

Run hard to the left & do the full McGovern?

Or, run to the right & say, “You don’t want that leftie nutbag in the WH, do you?”

I don't see how Elizabeth Warren will tap into that vein. She's going to be the "magic white Indian?" Seems like a long shot. On the other hand, I thought Obama was a long shot too, shows you what I know.

One thing seems certain - Warren will not energize the back vote. How could she?

Interesting, the number of personal attacks in this thread. Sen. Warren is known to homeowners as the ONLY voice in Congress putting heat on the banksters (who fund both traitorous parties). The voices in this thread are determined to have us at each others’ throats, when the greater enemy goes unscathed.

You forgot the one with her statement “I created much of the intellectual foundation for [Occupy Wall Street] on the picture of the guy defecating on a NYPD patrol car.

Warren is just a stupid woman. She doesn’t know that banks can simply refuse to lend money at .75% interest.

The banks are not "the greater enemy". The great enemy is the leviathan government that Elizabeth Warren wants to grow exponentially.

I don't love banks, but if not for the government, business with banks would be voluntary. If not for the government, different banks could behave differently and then the market could decide which banks and policies are serving their customers best.

But in the current system, the banks and the government are one and the same. For her to pretend that government can solve the problems with banks is like OJ looking for the real killers on the golf course. It's a nonsense meme designed to hide the reality.

Elizabeth Warren emmanuelgoldsteins the banks to justify her desire to turn our entire lives over to government control. She is Bernie Sanders in a Heckawi costume and is not to be trusted.
