They just wanted an excuse. The plan was already highly criticized because the company has serious financial troubles and they were using public funds for the expansion.

All I see on a web search for Angie’s List is how bad it s**ks. Never used it and never will. If you have to pile on the TV advertising, it’s automatically suspect anyway.

What “anti-gay” law is that?

Progressives have mastered the science of using language to constantly reinforce ideology and thus winning arguments just by starting them.

I’m more interested in the “Pro-Totalitarian-Fascism” internet regulations recently proposed by the FCC.

Well, as much as I like Angie’s List (we’ve been subscribed to it for many years) & have benefited from it, I likely will now not renew.

Since those FCC regs are ultimately intended to enrich members of the Obama regime, I doubt we’ll hear much in the MSM.

Exactly, if all states do not pass such laws, corporations like Angie’s List and Apple will be able to override the will of the legislature and voters of states

It dares to provide support for a small set of situations (e.g. Christian baker and homo wedding, possibly some bed and breakfasts) where the homo crowd will not be able to run roughshod over the faith of the proprietor against the proprietor’s will.

If anything, it will save the homo crowd from a lot of hatred that it would otherwise have earned. Go bugger if you must, we have warned you, but we will not make the police stop you. However, do not presume to bugger our practices of our faiths or we will make you stop.

Since PC interpretations of the 14th Amendment’s (14A) Equal Protections Clause (EPC) have fueled the noise being made by pro-gay activists, please consider the following about 14A, previously mentioned in related threads.

Pro-gay PC interpretations of the 14th Amendment’s (14A) Equal Protections Clause (EPC) are arguably a litmus test for determining if somebody has actually read the Constitution or not. This is because Section 1 of 14A where the EPC is found also prohibits the states from making laws / policies which unreasonably abridge the constitutionally enumerated rights of citizens.

14th Amendment, Section 1:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws [emphases added].

So since the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect gay marriage for example, the states are free to make laws / policies which discriminate against constitutionally unprotected gay marriage, as long as such laws don’t also unreasonably abridge constitutionally enumerated rights.

On the other hand, pro-gay activist states have violated the 14th Amendment imo. This is because they are using equality policies to protect constitutionally unprotected gay “rights” in order to bully Christian business owners who are protected by the 1st Amendment’s religious expression provision.

In fact, the Indiana law actually helps to protect Indiana from unthinkingly violating the 14th Amendment like the misguided, low-information, pro-gay activist states already have imo.
