Just what is a TED?............... TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, and Design.
Clearly Ms. Lewinski falls under the second category.

I believe this is a Clinton funded exercise to help Monica and to deflect the “blame” from Bill Clinton to some straw man like internet bullying or some such, in order to help Hillary.
Truth be told, Hillary is the original strategist of the War on Women, in order to protect her power which came from Bill.
Women were sacrificed on the altar of the Clintons, but it was for the greater good, doncha know.

IIRC TED talks routinely excludes pro-American and pro-Christian presents.

“Public shaming as a blood-sport has to stop.”
No. Doing things for which you are ashamed should be stopped.

“We need to return to a long-held value of compassion. Compassion and empathy. Online, we’ve got a compassion deficit, an empathy crisis.”
Uh, speaking of ‘long-held’ values.... how’s about those oldies but goodies... modesty and propriety?
Or better yet... how about that ‘long-held value’ of getting along in life by virtue of your merit and abilities, RATHER than trading on the advantages of your ‘person’?
What about THAT one Monica?

From the article, “Public shaming as a blood sport has to stop”.
Personally, I think public shaming has always been here, is here to an extent and will be here. It is a way society says someone or something has gone too far and what has been done should be shameful or considered in that manner. Why is it the fringes of society (loose women/men, homosexuals, pedophiles etc) want to eliminate any sort of societal guilt? Could it be that they want full acceptance for their behavior... IMHO, it’s not going to ever be that way.

Seventeen years after the Year of Our Intern, Lewinsky should be doing something different. To quote the liberal lingo during that time, "move on." Yet it is Lewinsky who keeps returning to the scene of her obscene behavior, and now insists we feel her pain, that she is the "Patient Zero" of "slut shaming." Lewinsky wishes to reinvent herself as an evangelist and a guru, but how to do it? Call it shame-shaming. Seventeen years later, Monica Lewinsky has developed no other valuable marketable skills.
