WASHINGTON - D.C.'s delegate to Congress is making news for her parking skills. Video published by Roll Call shows Eleanor Holmes Norton awkwardly trying to wedge her car between two cars parked in angled spaces near the Capitol earlier this week. You could say that didn't go well.
The video was shot Wednesday along New Jersey Avenue Southeast, between the Longworth and Cannon House Office buildings, according to Roll Call. Norton, 77, is seen trying to squeeze her silver, four-door sedan in between two other cars that are parked in angled spots. The only problem? Norton is trying to park straight.
In a story about what they're calling the "worst parking job ever," Roll Call reports they got the video from a tipster. Posted on their YouTube channel, it offers running commentary by the mystery guys behind the camera, who clearly can't believe what they're seeing out the window.
According to the video's narrators, Norton hit the red SUV on the right "repeatedly."
"If she parks like that, she should not be a member of Congress anymore," one of them says on the video.

Thx! I drive a full sized Jaguar S Type and even if I come in at a wrong angle I can whip it around and park in a space like that. That stupid little can she was driving would make it even easier. She’s an idiot.

More fascinating to me is the motorcycle cop who blows through a stop at 40 seconds into the video. I would have loved to have seen him get t-boned.
After all, she secured a never-ending, high-paying sinecure for herself with undreamed-of benefits for the rest of her pathetic life....all paid for with other peoples' money, i.e., yours and mine.
Quite an achievement for this perpetually-dense "public servant" who decries the capitalistic system.....and who has been laboring mightily to replace it with socialism and worse during her years of being embedded in a fake, deceitfully-manufactured, public-welfare "job".
She earns around $175,000 a year....plus all those delicious, lucrative fringies. Nice work if you can get it.
(She ought to be provided a tax-payer-funded chauffeur, also....I doubt if anyone would oppose THAT!)

I watched a black woman trying to gas up her car at a convenience store. Her initial attempt failed because she pulled into the pumps with the gas cap of the vehicle on the opposite side of the pumps. She got out and walked around the vehicle until she realize the gas cap was on the wrong side. She got back in her vehicle and drove around the pumps and came back in with the gas cap again on the wrong side. I was ready to go but decided to stick around and watch. She got out and again realized she needed to do something else. She decided to try a second set of pumps again with the same results! I was sitting in my truck trying my best not to laugh to loud. Apparently no bell or light bulb went of in her head telling her how to solve her problem! She decided to just drive off without getting gas. I went home amazed at what I just saw!
No doubt being a sycophant to a Congressperson (even a non-voting delegate) pays better than being a barista at Starbucks.

He probably knows her well enough that an offer to help her park would be considered an insult and he would probably lose his job.

To take public notice of her incompetence would be racist.
