Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker may be on the verge of burning himself down before he actually gets started, given what is now becoming something of a circus regarding his actual stance on immigration.
According to this new Wall Street Journal report, it’s quite possible a supporter of Jeb Bush, or another candidate went to the media regarding Walker’s recent comments at a private GOP dinner, it doesn’t matter. With three sources now (anonymously) on record, he appears to have Walkered himself right into this one. If his name becomes synonymous with waffling on a critical issue like immigration, his next nickname may be toast!
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker told a private dinner of New Hampshire Republicans this month that he backed the idea of allowing undocumented immigrants to stay in the country and to eventually become eligible for citizenship, a position at odds with his previous public statements on the matter.
Given the history here, it may now be impossible to know precisely where Walker stands, with supporters left to assume the worst — that he’s just another open borders Republican — becoming the default across the conservative grassroots whose support he needs to win.

I wanted to like him, too. But my gut has been telling me he is Plan B for The Cheap Labor Express if Jebster flames out.

The reason is the Chamber of Commerce and their associated big donors have made it clear they won’t support anyone who doesn’t toe the amnesty line.
What taxes? With the EIC they will have refunds coming once they are eligible.

Listen up, if the American people could find and kill the last passenger pigeon, they can root out illegals. How was it done? A bounty system extirpated that bird as a threat to crops. Put price on all illegals turned in along with heavy penalties for false arrest and detainment or any act of unnecessary cruelty. Put up a web page teaching the proper procedures with links to the applicable statutes.
It would happen so fast that there would be traffic jams at the border crossings.
Yup-just let these guys eliminate themselves one by one!
Ok for the millionth time YOU DON'T HAVE TO DEPORT ILLEGALS. If all economic means of support is cut off they will repatriot themselves. They used their own means to sneak into the USA and they can leave the same way. IS THAT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?
Walker also has Democrats in the Senate and House and STILL is able to get his ultra conservative agenda through. Not to mention working full time as Governor while running for office 3 years in a row AND STILL was able to pass his ultra conservative agenda. I don’t think any other candidate who went through the hell that Walker did would surprise. Yes Cruz had to beat Dewerst and then run in a DEEP DEEP red state.......I guess I will give him credit for beating Dewerst....it probably was a bit of a nuisance.

The State Patrol union was spared both of those blows and still negotiated a roughly 17% pay increase for its members in a contract with the Walker administration.

Its not amnesty because he will charge them each a $100 fine * before they get full citizenship, to teach them to not do it again**.

Many of us are saying to deport their criminal asses right back to mexico or where ever the hell they come from.
