Yea, I hear you. My only point was that he was a lot better than Kay, and even Kay was better than a decent number of Republicans. But he is certainly far from ideal.
Cornyn is a known RINO by his actions. No surprise there.
Actually, in this case I don’t see Cornyn’s stand as being unreasonable. Now, if it gets down to Cruz v. Bush and Cornyn still will not endorse Cruz, then we will have something to attack him for.

Again, this is way to early to conclude anything. The GOP presidential debate coming up in 5 months on Fox News will shed some light on who will connect with voters and who won’t.
Cornyn started out that way, better than Kay, but as he cultivated and charmed the Establishment leadership he soon rose in ranks, reaped the rewards of position, power and the establishment funding that goes with all that and he is an over ripe Establishment squish of a player, now.
He will be found no where NEAR a rank and file conservative who can not be co-opted, as he was.

yep, didn’t vote for cornyn in the primaries or the general and will never vote for him. just skipped that position on the ballot. If his win relies on my vote he is in a lot of trouble.
Among other differences, you’d NEVER see a Dem say that about another Dem. They’d eat dirt first.
