Yeah, you are right, computers, and the internet, and email, is not just for trained typists, plus she was bound to have done a little typing in her younger days, Hillary had a youth and life and career that would have always had typewriters around her.

Back in the ‘50s in rural Texas we were all expected to take typing. Ah yes, that was in the day of carbon paper to make copies, and erasing errors with the little red eraser shaped like a wheel with a small green brush on one side. That’s why we senior citizens love typing on computers now.

I talk into it and it types for me.

A lot of lawyers that deal with “delicate” matters make it a habit to avoid electronic communication whenever possible. Easy to destroy paper without a trail. And they’ve always got some kind of posse that understands they might have to take a fall for the boss. Not much different than any other celebs who like shady lifestyles.

Yeah. I’m 61 and have been in IT since 1983. I like to say that the only class I took in high school that actually mattered was typing. :-)

And don’t ask me why, but I took two semesters. Thank God.

Even though I was a fair typist, I hired a professional steno to do my thesis in college, there were many around.
