Ted Cruz Responds to Jerry Brown Saying He’s ‘Unfit’ for Office
Mediaite ^ | 03/23/2015 | Josh Feldman

Before he officially announced his run for the presidency, Senator Ted Cruz responded to California Governor Jerry Brown calling him “unfit” for office.

Brown was on Meet the Press yesterday and reacted to Cruz rejecting scientific theories about climate change. Brown said, “That man betokens such a level of ignorance and a direct falsification of the existing scientific data… [He] has rendered himself absolutely unfit to be running for office.”

Cruz spoke to Breitbart News Sunday yesterday and responded to Brown’s remarks. He rejected the “alarmism” and again insisted there has been no warming in the past decade-plus.

Cruz also expressed disappointment in Brown engaging in ad hominem attacks:

He said alarmists like Brown “ridicule and insult anyone who actually looks at the real data” instead of engaging in a meaningful debate or discussion because “they don’t want to confront the data” that undercuts their narrative. Cruz said that though “apocalyptical computer models said that we would see substantial warming,” the “problem is that the satellites that are actually measuring the temperature show that that isn’t happening.”

You can watch Brown’s comments here, via NBC:

Wait for it.... the Left is going to solidly double-down on the whole man-made climate change theme, afraid they’ll be exposed for shysters.

Senor Gobernador Marron knows how to handle Latinos. Just give them everything and you’ll stay in office. What a hero!

It is one thing to be wrong. It is another thing to look someone in the eye and baldly lie to them and accuse them of your actions.
"Falsification of the existing ... data" is how the Global Warming cultists roll. Remember Mann's mythical 'hockey stick'? 'Hide the decline'? Resetting old temperature records because they didn't like the data? Not counting the temperature results from weather stations that did not produce the desired data?

It takes a special sociopath to just lie while insisting it is the truth. I have no problem with someone stating that they are 'concerned' because computer models indicate we could be on the verge of the problem. But claiming that they have scientific data to back up their conclusions is a bald-faced lie. Well practiced by politicians trying to lift money out of your pockets.

That was among my favorite books I had to read back in college. (Yes, it beat “Rules for Radicals”. ;-)

Not only him, but the founder of Greenpeace has also said that he doubts man has any meaningful impact on the environment or that CO2 is a major concern.

Humor can be an effective approach.

"Jerry Brown? I had almost forgotten that old lefty was still alive, much less governor of California. Send him my best wishes."

There are no X and Y values other than statistical averages of the small, measured portions of the entire planet. Even those numbers are then subjected to various “adjustments”.

Put one foot in a bucket of extremely hot water and the other in a bucket of ice. Theoretically, you’ll be quite comfortable since the average temperature is midway between the two.

He heard from me long ago, no other dialog is required.

BTW, it appeared as humor, but his comment was quite serious. That’s what made it el perfecto.

WOO-HOO!

Absolutely fitting and typical for moonbeam to verbally assault the smartest man in government because moonbeam is a dunce and a follower not a leader.

I hated the subject of science, but I’ll put my knowledge up against moonbeam’s every day of every week and twice on every Sunday.

I couldn’t be more excited that Sen. Cruz is running for President. He has my 100% support. Moonbeam’s concern just means he really is the right guy, imho. However, he will be against any Conservative.

I really hope Cruz wins the nomination.

Having lived in California since 1970 when a real man by the name of Ronald Reagan was governor, I can without a doubt say that Jerry Brown is the biggest S**thead to be governor since his father, the late Pat Brown who was governor prior to Ronald Reagan and nearly bankrupted this state. His son, Jerry, the former Jesuit seminarian, is working hard to spend this state into oblivion with the biggest ticket being his high speed rail to nowhere project.

I'm glad that Cruz is not taking the RINO high road "I'll not dignify the attacks with a response" approach.

Best thing for Cruz to do right now is smash his critics right in the mouth (figuratively speaking, of course). Make it painful for the liberals to attack Ted Cruz.

YES!!!

I’m talking about satellite data. There IS an average surface temperature of the entire earth, and it has been going down for eighteen years.

But I can’t find the actual numbers.

“Wait for it.... the Left is going to solidly double-down on the whole man-made climate change theme, afraid they’ll be exposed for shysters.”

Of course they will. The entire plan is to bankrupt the nation by diverting “carbon credits” into their pockets by fiat and then when the numbers prove that they were wrong they can say “we prevented it from happening”.

California Governor Jerry Brown. Mr. Moonbeam.

I have zero respect for liberals, Marxist, socialist, progressives, democrats so why do I care what Linda Ronstadt’s boyfriend thinks?
