I visit a plant where I get to park right by the front door in a space marked Renewable Fuels Vehicle
The Diesel at Sam’s is not only very cheap but bio as well
It doesn’t seem to effect the milage like ethanol in gasoline
Biodiesel is within a few percent of the efficiency of petrodiesel. It’s not perfect, for sure.
Biofuels didn’t start out a scam. There were a legitimate national security concern as a result of WW2 through the 1970s or a little later.
That big Singapore Biodiesel Plant that the greenies so love has incentivized loggers to clear cut a lot of virgin rain forest to allow palm oil trees to be planted. The palm plantations are eco deserts compared to natural jungle.
All I can think of is those old Rush Limbaugh skits with all the chainsaws noises and crashing trees.
