Yeah that’s pretty clear even though the drivebys do their best to hide the truth.

Probably a good move.
Had a tarpon report the other day. Seems hundreds of giant tarpon up to 150 lbs. are now moving into the Keys, could be a good year.Recently,I went on a spectacular trip to Shark River and we had a ball. Didn’t catch any giants but had lots of fun. Discovered new spots caught snapper, trout, mackerel, ladyfish, jacks you name it.

The difference was Palin came in very very late. She was basically unknown nationally until September 2008 when the R convention was held (latest convention ever). The MSM was able to define her quickly with little time to respond.

The Cruzer is gonna have plenty of time to spar with his opponents. He’s certainly not my top choice, but we’ll see if anybody can come up with enough dough to tackle Jebbie.

Demonization...you bet, but at least Cruz and Walker know how to handle it. That’ll be the real show.

The big news here in Peoria is the downfall of our Congressman Aaron Schock. What a tragedy!

The guy had such a bright future. He began making money in 5th grade. He started his own IRA by age 14. He finished all his required high school requirements in 2 years, but they wouldn’t let him graduate, so he earned dual credits for high school and College by attending community college. He got his BS in finance at Bradley in 2 years. During college he invested in real estate, and setup a franchise business.

While attending Bradley, he ran for school board as a write-in. His ground game was so organized, he defeated an incumbent with 60% of the votes as write-ins. At age 23 he was elected President of the School board, the youngest in Illinois history.

While still age 23 he ran for Illinois house and defeated a four term incumbent in a heavy democratic district by less than 400 votes, becoming the youngest member of Illinois general assembly in history.

When Ray Lahood retired in 2008 Schock easily won the congressional seat and became the youngest Congressman in history at age 27.
His name came up often about a future Illinois Senator, or even Governor.

He was most likely a millionaire even before he went to Congress with all his business savvy and interests. He did a lot of stupid egotistical things like posting pictures etc., but what seems to have been the straw last week that broke the camels back was he padded his expense reports reporting 170,000 reimbursable miles when his vehicle only shows about 70,000 miles. Now the FBI is investigating, and he could go to prison.

Needless to say everyone around here is (excuse the pun) SHOCKED.

The good news is the seat is safe. A special election will be held in July and the most likely successor is State Senator Darin Lahood, Ray’s son. Incidentally, Darin is much more conservative than his Father.

Get back out there and get a giant tarpon!

And we want pictures, or it didn’t happen!

Thought I’d drop a post to thank you for the commentary.

Most interesting.

Also, thank me very much....here’s my stock tip....Buy stock in Dunkin’ Donuts.

Cause Starbucks is ceasing its dumb Race Discussion or whatever, this tactic soon to go down in history as the dumbest move made by a corporation in the last century.

It’s not what selling coffee’s about....consider this a big lib lesson. If our GOP-e had a clue they’d be using just this as an example.

Perhaps the idea was to draw attention to Starbucks -- and it did!

The Starbucks corporate officers are laughing all the way to the bank this week!

Kind of a side ROFLMAO re Starbucks....

They finished a brand-new store over in Billings, covers a quarter of a city block and could probably provide coffee (or whatever..) for everybody in five counties.

Drove by the place yesterday and I think that the Funeral parlor two blocks south of ‘em had more traffic.

Actually, coffee joints don’t do all that well here because I think that all of these Scandinavians around these parts can make better stuff to drink while asleep, dead drunk or all of the above. Try and tell ‘em what to think on top of makin’ ‘em pay for stuff they wouldn’t wash a dog with is just not a very good business model.

The McLaughlin Group John McLaughlin, Pat Buchanan, Eleanor Clift, Tom Rogan, Mort Zuckerman
Taped: Friday, March 20, 2015
http://www.mclaughlin.com/transcript.htm?id=1056
Issues: Dealing with Syria’s Assad, Republican Budget, Netanyahu’s Fourth Term

Caught the budget part on—Clift said Republicans in house and Senate are going to be worst gridlock ever [How about a President who doesn’t understand basic Economics 101, Eleanor? Remember statements like ‘profits, now is not the time for that’, Eleanor?] also Clift says there’s more to take from the rich, well why not 100% then Eleanor? The trade off in high taxes on the rich has been jobs, jobs, jobs, just what the Democrats promised with their stimulus, yet never delivered.

Rogan was doing faily well countering Democrat talking points;

ROGAN: And credit to them, they actually care about the future generation of the country.

CLIFT: It’s full of gimmick and hypocrisy.

ROGAN: But the president’s budget is a proud gimmick. The whole State of the Union was a gimmick.

...CLIFT: Takes the case, the president thinks money grows on tree. Why don’t you try to back that one up?

ROGAN: Well, by his State of the Union, that he says he wants all this infrastructure spending and he doesn’t want —

CLIFT: He wants to invest in the country —

ROGAN: We don’t have any money.

CLIFT: And people and education and —

...ROGAN: And austerity has worked in the U.K., which is the big debate.

CLIFT: And austerity has not worked in Europe.

ROGAN: Why is the U.K. growing at the greatest rate in Europe?

CLIFT: Austerity has been a disaster in Europe.

No Eleanor, the disaster was the spending that lead to that hard pill to swallow, Austerity. Boehner should have stopped splurging with the Democrats 4 years ago.

And did anyone see our media, the ‘free press’ discuss what Theocracy is? The whole dealing with Iran is delusional, their not even a free country, let alone an entity to put any trust in.

Obama Praises Iranian Dictator in Nowruz Address, Throws US Allies Under Bus
http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/03/20/obama-praises-iranian-dictator-in-nowruz-address-throws-us-allies-under-bus/
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3270423/posts?page=1

President Obama adds: In this sense, Iran’s leaders have a choice between two paths. If they cannot agree to a reasonable deal, they will keep Iran on the path it’s on today—a path that has isolated Iran, and the Iranian people, from so much of the world, caused so much hardship for Iranian families, and deprived so many young Iranians of the jobs and opportunities they deserve.

Eleanor Cliff’s an embarrassment even to the left. She couldn’t make it on FOX nor other political programs because she’s incoherent and illogical. She’s simply a sycophant for the left.

Another thing is Cliff doesn’t listen. She tries to make a point and even shot down she just repeats it over and over, hoping, I guess, that someone will believe her rambling.

That’s right.

I couldn’t stomach watching Chris Wallace and Brennan the muzzie convert.

Nixon got the 24/7/365 Watergate Hate treatment for two years until he resigned.

Woodward sitting on Wall-ass panel, and he doesn’t take the opportunity to ask him how Hillary’s actions shouldn’t be scrutinized like Nixons...

After all it sure smells like obstruction of justice by a high ranking “ president wannabe”

So, congressman Schock pads his expense report, reporting 170,000 reimbursable miles instead of 70,000.

Meanwhile, other members of Congress make millions from insider trading, and then you’ve got Dianne Feinstein’s husband getting a $1 billion contract to sell off post office’s and another $1 billion to build high speed rail in California that no one wants, plus all the contracts she funneled to Blum, her husband, when Feinstein was on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Then there’s Harry Reid and all of his corrupt dealings.

What a country!

I hope congress stays gridlocked on a budget until the cost of adding thousands, probably millions tho we are not privy to the actual numbers, of aliens which this administration is in the process of unloading on America, is fully explained to the American taxpayers footing the bill. Every time a new tax is proposed or floated to be attached to what is generally a perceived necessity for whatever entity involved, the cost of importing huge numbers of additional dependents on US citizens has to be addressed. The amount of taxes already paid by US citizens cannot cover the additional trillions required to support, cradle to grave, the increase in population now being carried out by the Obama socialist democrat administration.

Perhaps the idea was to draw attention to Starbucks -- and it did!

I don't believe that for a minute. Else why the hell wouldn't every business just boom, wake up and decide to tout race relations on their products if it leads to 52 week highs?

I think Starbucks did a stupid thing and the monetary results of this thing won't be felt by that company for at least a week or two. Now I don't why they did a stupid thing, whether the company's normal liberalism and , let's face it, only rich liberals buy five buck a cup coffee every day, sometimes couple times a day. Or maybe they did it at Al Sharpton's urging, Jesse Jckson.

It was NOT a good business move else they'd keep on doing it, right?

Any attention they got will NOT be good.
