Federal and state authorities are investigating the hanging death of a black man in Mississippi who had been missing for more than two weeks, the FBI said Thursday.
The investigation involves the FBI, the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division and the United States Attorney's office. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is also involved.
The man was last seen March 2 and was reported missing by his family days later, FBI Supervisory Special Agent Jason Pack said in a statement. Pack says the cause of death has not been determined, and authorities aren't sure if it's a homicide or a suicide.

if law enforcement calls it a suicide...they will still manage to use it to feed the fear and loathing already so prevelant in certain “segments” of society/

Personally it sounds like a typical hanging suicide to me. I know of a few self hangings and all were in secluded areas.

I read an article last week in the NY Daily News about these black teen girls who beat up this other black girl in a MacDonalds, and sure enough as I was reading the reader comments someone blamed it on the Tea party! “The racism of the Tea party is spreading hate among these girls” LOL! The Tea party is the new Bush. Everything is the fault of the Tea party now.

There’s fewer people now in that county since the late 1820s (not 1920s, 1820s). The likelihood of a White person committing this act (based on racial and criminal demographics in this county) is almost zero.
