Netanyahu Flip Flop: I Want a Two-State Solution [Israel]

Days after vowing not to establish a Palestinian state, Netanyahu says something else in his first post-election interview.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has retracted his pre-election statements, according to which he would not allow a Palestinian state to be established.

"I don't want a one-state solution. I want a sustainable, peaceful two-state solution," Netanyahu said Thursday in an interview with MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell. "I haven't changed my policy."

Netanyahu said his earlier comments were a reflection of changing conditions on the Palestinian side, pointing to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas's pact to form a unity government with Hamas, which Israel, the U.S. and most European countries consider a terrorist organization.

"I'm talking about what is achievable and what is not achievable," Netanyahu said Thursday, insisting that he would support a demilitarized Palestinian state under a plan that would ensure Israel's security.

BiBi’s message about No Palestinian State was a personal message to Obama that this will never happen under Obama’s watch. The price Obama pays for sleeping with Iran.

Out of all the articles in all the Israeli publications this week, trust you to post the negative one about Netanyahu. Yes, I have either read or skimmed all of them.

I agree with that. The information about the U. S. and Britain being charge with interfering was new to me. I hadn’t heard that before, but the Arabs in those territories are the most prolific and moronic liars I’ve ever witnessed.

You can watch a video of something take place, and they’ll go on camera to claim it never did.

A two-state solution may be the only way to save the Jewish state due to birth rate and population growth dynamics.

The years 2038-2043 are currently projected to be when Arabs (Muslims, Druze and Christians) become the numerical majority inside the current boundaries of Israel, not counting Palestine.

Polling data shows that most Arab Citizens of Israel (currently 21.7% of the population) will choose to remain as Israeli citizens.

The Arab List finished third in this election and increased their representation in the Knesset from 12 to 14.

Twenty-Five Israels and Palestines could fit within the state of Texas.

I’m not down on Prime Minister Netanyahu on this ... I’m pointing out that the press is hitting at Netanyahu from BOTH SIDES!! ... LOL ...

I’m 100% behind Netanyahu in doing what he has to do to protect the interests of Israel against the Islamic Terrorists and in regards to the world community.

I praise Netanyahu for doing an EXCELLENT JOB! I’m trusting you support him in the same way!

I don't think these photos were on FR. If I remember correctly they were a feature on an AOL morning news slide show.

It ALSO served to get him an INFLUX of votes from the Nationalist group of voters and away from the other parties they would have voted for, thus giving Netanyahu and Likud a huge boost in seats ... :-) ...

Well, if you know Netanyahu, you knew that was going to happen ... :-) ... he is a very pragmatic politician and does the best for Israel.

Thank you for the outstanding FreeRepublic support during this time Star Traveler. A great blessing, thanks! I must also go with what God says about Israel my dear, good friend.

"I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land."

Joel 3:2

...”Arabs in those territories are the most prolific and moronic liars I’ve ever witnessed”.....

Lying is perfectly admissible according to ISlamic writings and Law..... In fact they do something called ‘Bakharir”.....meaning if they take an oath and later find something else better then that, then they can do what is better and expiate their oath.... So even their treaties are only as good for as long as they think they need to keep them regardless of what they might actually require.

As for blaming the US and Britain....oh yes...I just listened to their tapped conversation last night as I was listening to a recap on the Six Day war. Everybody actually was astounded at how Israel did this....Israel gave the credit to God's hand...I think they are right because it was an astounding victory..

That’s true and will happen during the Tribulation time, as all nations turn against Israel (including the USA).

Those borders that are outlined in that map will be the ones in effect during the Millennial reign of the Messiah of Israel, Jesus!

...”divided up ‘MY’ land”....

Few realize that God himself lays claims to that land and who he determines shall have it...that was decided and appointed centuries ago...not man.

I remember and I do agree with your observations regarding the Six Day war.

Those nations thought they were going to roll over Israel.

“Surprise!!!”

The Sinai, gone. Golan Heights, gone. Other nations reeling. Egypt’s tanks gone.

LOL, it was an amazing feat.

I wasn’t aware of the Koran’s support for reneging on agreements. That’s a real nice thing to know when you’ve got Kerry negotiating on your behalf.

Iran? LOL...

...”Netanyahu is the best Prime Minister Israel could have!”...

Yes, and those who were opposing him in Israel do not get that they “need” a strong leader...too many liberal minded in Israel today believe the wrong side of history if they know it at all!

Amen, and you are correct. God is AWESOME in His power. I watched a video of the fusion on the earth's sun. It blew me away how much POWER that was. And that was .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of God's Power.

We must remember who we are dealing with. Praise God.

You can imagine “plays” all you want ... what I’ve posted over the years about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and being in 100% support of his policies and actions ... is all clearly posted and in a very straightforward way with no “qualifications”!

You’re just on a “wild goose chase” and getting nowhere ... LOL ...

Here’s something else just to put under your cap when listening to the Muslims refer to “the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah” , which they frequently do when negotiating with diplomatss. Though ‘THEY’ know what that means most diplomats don’t check to see just what that treat was about.

This is it in a nutshell basically:

Muhammed agreed to a 10 yr. truce with the enemy tribe in order to build back up his army....then 2 years later he marched into Mecca and overtook it.

So when they use that it sends a signal to the other arabs in those meetings that they might agree but doesn’t mean they have to stay in agreement.

"The Israelis who voted for Netanyahu because they don’t want a two state solution could not be amused, I’d imagine."

Now there's a truth for all time!!!
