EXCLUSIVE-MICHELLE MALKIN: SCOTT WALKER DESERVES TO BE VETTED MUCH BIGGER THAN OUSTED PRO-AMNESTY AI

Full Title: EXCLUSIVE — MICHELLE MALKIN: SCOTT WALKER DESERVES TO BE VETTED, ‘PROBLEMS’ MUCH BIGGER THAN OUSTED PRO-AMNESTY AIDE

Nationally syndicated conservative columnist Michelle Malkin, founder of the website Twitchy, tells Breitbart News that Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker—a potential 2016 GOP presidential candidate—needs to be vetted. She also says Walker’s “problems” run much deeper than the decision to hire—then quickly let go of—pro-amnesty communications aide Liz Mair, who had taken shots at Iowa.

“Scott Walker has much bigger problems than the ill-considered hiring and firing of one D.C. operative,” Malkin said in an email.

What does he really stand for and is he fully equipped to bear the slings and arrows of his enemies on a national and global scale? Yes, he fought Big Labor and has managed his state well. But grass-roots activists in his state have long been warning me of his ideological gymnastics on core issues: immigration and education.

He has been on the same side as the progressive Left and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Right: pro-amnesty, pro-massive legal immigration expansionist, and pro-Common Core. He’s been left, right, center, and all over the map.

She added that Washington-based GOP establishment forces are good at backing up establishment politicians, as they seemed to have tried to do to defend Walker and Mair.

“The D.C. consultant class and Capitol Hill GOP operators are adept at swooping in to ‘rescue’ the campaigns of neophytes and molding them into Beltway barnacle tools,” Malkin said. “They did it with Spencer Abraham and Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan. Face it: Many of the D.C. messaging ‘experts’ and ‘communicators’ DO have their own policy agenda and it is naive or stupid to believe they have no sway or influence on ambitious, outside the Beltway seekers of higher public office with no fixed principles.”

You lied and you can’t or won’t admit it.

End of discussion.

I found buried in someone else's post that Malkin went on to say, in the referenced essay, that she favors Ted Cruz. I didn't see that, it wasn't addressed to any of the three of us who asked you that question.

That sounds right, but I haven't found it yet myself.

Stay with Cruz and you won’t have to suffer the humiliation from a Walker Blue Dog Republican presidential campaign ...

My post above about Dick Nixon's dropping the conservatives and fobbing them off with appointments applies here. Whalen wrote a book about the Nixon campaign and his disillusionment later, titled Catch the Falling Flag, it's a primer on GOP double-crossing techniques (which Nixon learned from Dwight Eisenhower, but that's another story).

I am for Ted Cruz at the moment, but am trying to keep an open mind on Walker.

I agree, Romney was a huge disappointment in many ways. Only good thing I can say about Romney is he might have been better than Obummer.

Now it is 8 years of degradation of country accomplished by the community organizer, socialist income redistribution-er from those who work to those who prefer not to work, Muslim brotherhood backer, and never having run anything productive in his entire life, the country needs a strong statesman to change direction. If Hillary wins, I will apply for residency in New Zealand or Australia. They both have strict immigration policies..you either bring high skills or tons of money. Our country is being run over by unskilled and welfare dependent invaders.

RE:”...which the ‘Rats borrowed for their “throw-Granny-off-the-cliff” foul-play ad,...”

I really couldn't feel sorry for Ryan in that as the Medicare ‘plan’ he proposed was so disingenuous and scammy the purpose was ironically to fend off the same accusations.

His ‘plan’ did the opposite and never was meant to take serious, it was just a scam to gain him ‘conservative creds’ to cover him for the deals to follow.

Recall him claiming that he was against the sequester when videos showed otherwise.

...It’s in the northern tier of states, right next door to Minnesota, where I live.

Point being, Wisconsin has a buffer zone of most of the rest of the states against Mexicans sneaking across the border.

But I think it is a good thing that Walker fired his pro-amnesty aide.

On this one, I disagree with Michelle. He knew enough to push back on the set-up question on Evolution, for example.

Also in his favor, he never finished college: no Ivy League auto-anointed idiot here. (You know, like John Kerry or Al Franken...)

The rally was next to the state capitol building, so I’m assuming he was inside, doing his job.

Nice try, though.

Recall [Paul Ryan's] claiming that he was against the sequester when videos showed otherwise.

No, actually, I don't recall that at all. The sequester wasn't one of my hot-button issues like shamnesty, so I may have glossed over it, but that's a credibility-ablater when someone does that. Like Obama and the "bitter clingers" tape.

Try the H1B invasion: there’s a war on the middle class from all sides.

You just may have inspired a vanity article.

Please do a vanity on H-1B visas. Everyone seems to think poor Mexican when they are considering immigration as an issue; however, I believe the H-1B visa issue is as much or more of a concern. Those getting that VISA (now including their spouses), are taking jobs from Americans—from recent college grads who are up to their eyeballs in debt and want to work to pay off loans and from unemployed boomers who have had to tap into their 401Ks to make ends meet :(

Did you see the video on Drudge regarding the H-1B whistleblower?

Thanks again for the info! It helps put into context how history can repeat itself, especially on the political stage.

I'll try to get to the vanity tomorrow or Sunday; it won't just be about H1-B visas.
