If you are a private citizen, you do not have to open your mouth.

At that point, the only way you could be forced to testify is if Congress AND the US Justice department gave you full and complete immunity from any and all charges that might arise from any testimony given before Congress.
At that point, only contempt of Congress would land you in jail for not talking.
If the united States Department of Justice has not granted you immunity, YOU CANNOT BE COMPELLED TO TESTIFY.
If that were true we would have burned down their houses by now, tar and feathered them, and left them hanging from oaks.
