Anyway, I wonder what would happen if a kid chewed a pop tart into the shape of a pot leaf.

You are a very kind and understanding homeowner. If I had a neighbor who walked on to my property and pulled up one of my plantings, I would be explaining what trespass and damages means to him/her.
