We’re letting foreigners decide the composition of our country in the future.

Isn't that the liberals plan?

Jeb, if you truly care about the people of Mexico, and want to be compassionate, then spend more time helping the citizens of Mexico to clean up their own government and to create economic opportunities in Mexico. That would be the brave and grown up thing for you to do. An economically strong Mexico, without the political corruption that has plague it, would be a great thing for them and for us.

No, Jebbie Boy, it isn’t. It’s a childish little brat’s plan. Now put down your squirt gun and sit down.

I recognize the attempt at humor; but the implied point of your comment goes to the very essence of whether this man is morally fit to hold any office concerned with immigration questions.

The prinmary responsibility of every politician is to represent the interests of American citizens (although very few do so).

Jeb cannot be trusted to make fair and rational decisions pertainming to immigration and satisfying that responsibility because of his emotional connection with Mexico, Mexicans and his Mexican wife.

For those who would like more detail just do a little web surfing - Jeb's entire personal history and experience is all out there in the public domain.

“Jeb Bush said he would be open to allowing illegal immigrants a path to citizenship and said his position on immigration is “the grown-up plan.”

Oh here we go more of that “smart” liberal stuff again. So
now we have the new narrative of insult, the “grown-up”
label. Obama tells us we are not smart and Bush tells we
need to grow up. Just like the Obama, he’s an ass.

The opposition to a presidency dynasty was brought to us by Bush 41 and Bush 43. Bush 41 gave us Clinton 42—up to his eyeballs in corruption. Bush 43 gave us Obama 44—up to his eyeballs in Constitutional lawlessness. Bush 41 gave us Bush 43 who let the DemonRATs rule the narrative and blame him for the economic collapse. What spawn will Obama 42 bring? Will it bring Bush 45 or Clinton 45? The DemonRATs will try to make the case that Bush 45 will be “three strikes your out!” For Clinton 45, it will be “the second time’s a charm” and especially, if it is “such a charming woman” as the Hildebeast. For baseball enthusiasts, Clinton 45 has the edge (because of feminist identity politics) over Bush 45. Don’t forget “the charm” (sarc.).

How to change the equation: Run a male candidate (President) with a female candidate for Vice President. The female Vice President would satisfy the female identity politics component. The intent would be to have the change of command go to the Vice President after the President serves two terms. Then, the prepared Vice President would be in line for the first woman president. Sarah, America’s First Lady!

Presidents who were Vice President when elected:
John Adams
George Bush
Thomas Jefferson
Martin Van Buren

Presidents who became President by succession:
Chester A Arthur
Calvin Coolidge
Millard Fillmore
Gerald R Ford
Andrew Johnson
Lyndon B Johnson
Theodore Roosevelt
Harry S Truman
John Tyler

Who were V.P. earlier than getting elected:
Richard M Nixon

My Dream Team:
Senator Ted Cruz (President), Gov. Sarah Palin (Vice President). In this case, Gov. Sarah Palin would be “the second time’s a charm” candidate. And, Sarah would win in the “charming” category. See the below poll results.

The reality:
Gov. Scott Walker (President), Gov. Sarah Palin, Gov. Nikki Haley, Gov. Susana Martinez or Gov. Mary Fallin (Vice President).

An online poll by TheTeaParty.net and the conservative group Contract from America (as reported by the “Washington Examiner”) asked 62,000 Tea Party supporters who they’d like to see in 2016. Because it was an online poll, there is not the scientific accuracy and I am not sure how the respondents listed their preferences when the percentage totals should add up to 100% of the total responses. However, it does give a look at what conservatives are thinking:

1. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz-84 percent.
2. Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul-80 percent.
3. Dr. Ben Carson-77 percent.
4. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker-70 percent.
5. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin-64 percent.
6. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee-59 percent.
7. Texas Gov. Rick Perry-59 percent.
8. Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal-56 percent.
9. South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley-55 percent.
10. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio-52 percent.
11. Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice-48 percent.
12. Former Sen. Rick Santorum-46 percent.
13. Rep. Paul Ryan-45 percent.
14. Ohio Gov. John Kasich-42 percent.
15. Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin-41 percent.
16. Indiana Gov. Mike Pence-41 percent.
17. New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez-41 percent.
18. Rep. Steve King-37 percent.
19. New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte-30 percent.
20. Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr.-29 percent.
21. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush-29 percent.
22. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie-15 percent.

Notice who is on top and on the bottom.

“That’s right, the invasion will continue no matter what. The GOPe just wants to codify it into law.”

A lot of strange things happened here in Texas while Bush
was governor. I remember that Bush, Fox, and Martin were in
some secret meetings and part of the treaties were
classified. I wouldn’t doubt that we have a treaty with
Mexico and Canada, you know the hat and socks of north America,
to erase our borders with them, like they did with the
PU in Europe. Probably either in NAFTA, CAFTA or GAT.
It was hand in hand with the trans Texas corridor.

Giving amnesty to mostly only Latinos is racist.
Why not let them all stand in line. Educated and skilled everyone in first.
No dole for twenty years.
No vote for twenty years.
Proof you have lived above the poverty line without using assistance for at least ten years.

Then you go 15% from Africa.
Maybe 15% from Asia. 15 % from Latin America and so on.
Let us be racially fair and biased towards people who will pay and not take taxes.
First lets put fences all along our borders and guard them.
Let us kind of try a little to not have terrorist just walk in if they look like Mexicans or Canadians.

THAT is a mature immigration policy.

I will never vote for Jeb Bush. Find the short pier and take the long walk to Cuba or something Jeb.

Now there’s a formula for success. Call your entire party base a bunch of babies.

Feh. Conservatives got called that all the time here on FreeRepublic by posters who said we got our "widdle feewings hurt" when we refused to support Mitt in '12. I imagine the same thing's going to happen again in '16 when Jeb's the nominee. That's alright; I don't give a flying Leahy what GOPe apologists say to me anyway...

“THAT is a mature immigration policy.”

It would be a lot easier and cheaper just to prosecute the
hell out of the employers. All in took was for one a-hole
employer, who broke the law and got away with it, that
got us to where we are today. You will never have any
control over illegal immigration as long as the real
scumbags that caused the problem in the first place
are dealt with and held accountable. I say use the
forfeiture laws they use in drug enforcement on them and
go after their ill gotten gains.

They refuse to enforce those existing laws.

While Dems had the super majority with and the President they also made it legal for only illegals to be guilty of identity theft/document fraud. Not once, but they can do this three times. I mean three names, SS numbers and the such.

A lot needs to change. How come we prosecute residents and citizens over document fraud and not illegals?

Then there is the massive tax fraud using the child tax credit 15-30 times a return every year.

“but he still made it across the finish line in fairly strong shape.”

“Except for that general election thingy.”

Funny thing is, all along Obama had the IRS sabotaging and
suppressing the TEA Party. Romney knew what was going on
and said nor did nothing because it was in his best interest
not to do so. I wonder where Jeb was on that one.

Now I think that’s just to piss us off. You know what that is?
Theft, they print the money, they give it to the wetbacks,
they inflate the currency and they rob our savings and retirement.

Yes, they are allowed to some extent to file false tax returns without making an income for maybe a 20k return.
Then they may get $600 a month or more for an American born child. EBT, WIC, free medical and probably limo service.
