House Select Committee on Benghazi Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) said Tuesday that he will call on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to testify twice before his committee, after Clinton failed to aswer several outstanding questions about her use of personal email and her reaction to the 2012 attack in Libya.
“The first appearance will be to clear up her role and resolve issues surrounding her exclusive use of personal email to conduct official business,” Gowdy said. “This is necessary to establish our Committee has a complete record with respect to Secretary Clinton’s time in office.”
“Our committee will then call her to appear before the Committee in a public hearing to answer questions specifically regarding Libya and the Benghazi terrorist attacks that took the lives of our four brave fellow citizens,” he added.
Gowdy released a statement just minutes after Clinton argued that she has no further work emails on her private server, and that she didn’t save the remaining personal emails that were left. Clinton strongly hinted that she would resist attempts by Republicans to crack open that server and look for other Benghazi-related emails.
But Gowdy said it’s not up to her to decide what emails can be seen or not seen, and that she needs to give the server to a third party to make those decisions.

Interesting exchange on Greta tonight that could blow this wide open. She had a guest (IT expert) who traced the IP address of Hillary’s email and he says it came back to a government owned building in New York.
If that’s true...I bet Gowdy already had the information and was letting Hillary slip the noose around her own neck.
This guy was positive about the ownership of the building even after Greta questioned him at length about it. Wouldn’t it be interesting if the server that she says was set up by former President Clinton was housed in his office, paid for by taxpayer dollars...the irony would be incredible.

It would be Hillary’s escape hatch. She wouldn’t know any details about the government server she was using, and SHAZAM, the e-mails wouldn’t be her problem but are somehow not retained there just the same. Some little fish must have broken the rules!
It’s possible. But I am sure of the other 2.
Has the Massad penetrated our master email archive? That is possible but unknown.
I think there is currently little danger of the NSA releasing Derr Hilderbeast’s or Obozo’s emails.
The possibility of the Egyptians? Not sure. I think the answer depends on who they might give them to.
No question all the email data exists.
Will the NSA produce them, doubtful at this time.
Will someone else? Egypt? possible. Israel? possible.
We shall see.
Not so sure. she is counting on no one having access to the server.She may believe the server truly is private. If it turns out it was physically placed in a office (even a home office) that is taxpayer subsidized, she could have some real problems if she is holding back or has deleted emails.
Since Bill is still trying to figure out what the meaning of “is” is, it could be a very interesting development.
The IT guy couldn’t or wouldn’t name the building other than to say it was an “official New York government” building. I’ll be curious to see if anything comes of this.

I’m not saying it is an absolute. It would be such poetic justice that Hildabeast tries to orchestrate a cover-up by using a private server only to get tripped up by having it in a government building.
Haven’t heard too much about this (only on Greta’s show) but if true, Hillary could have screwed her own Presidential ambitions and may be facing a perp walk if it comes to light there are emails on the server that implicate a pay-to-play arrangement between the Clinton Foundation and her position as Secretary of State.
Just would be nice to see a “happy ending” for once.
Look at Huma’s server. I’d bet Hillary cc’d to Huma every email she sent. Plus all the nudes. And we know Hillary would never get rid of the nudes.
I think you’re right. Earlier I was thinking that Gowdy is helping Obama clear the way for Warren whether he realizes it or not.
Hillary’s not a genius. She’s just bold. “There’s no old, bold pilots.” Hillary’s old and very possibly she and her aging gang have lost their edge. We can hope.

I agree that Gowdy needs to subpoena NSA for the Emails to and from her server.

Settling comfortably into retirement. Tee shirt, no makeup, gained some weight. An orange jumper and she would fit right in with any Federal Prison population.
