Almost six in ten Americans say they favor allowing gay and lesbian couples to enter into same-sex marriages, the highest level of support ever recorded in a NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

In the new survey released Monday, 59 percent of Americans said that they favor same-sex marriages while just 33 percent said they oppose them.

For what it is worth. Give the SSM side some credit. Using the commanding heights of the culture and clerisy they sure were able to push through their goal in under two decades.

Oh please and where did they ask the question, the north east or west coast and what age bracket was it?

I know for a fact there is a tiny minority who support homosexual marriage, not gay marriage nor same sex but homosexual marriage.

It actually doesn’t surprise me a bit. It was all predicted in the bible many, many years ago. I wish people would wise up to what’s happening...but they won’t. They want what they want and that’s all that matters.

This is shallow support. I guarantee most of these people say yes because, “I don’t want to be mean”, and “people will freak out at me if I say no.”

Is this poll from the same source that reported "gun-owning households at all-time low"?

BS! Don't believe it.

It appears that the fags down at NBC and the Wall Street Journal are really excited about the country’s love affair with sexual deviancy.

I don’t doubt this. It’s evident across culture and advertising. Advertisers know the public very well and are weaving two dudes into wedding related promos widely now. It’s becoming rapidly accepted.

There’s no real counter to this now anyway. No one is publicly taking a stand to persuade others. Other than ‘I believe on traditional marriage’ there is no one making a persuasive argument to counter this movement.

They may have won the narrative, but they have not changed reality. Calling a same sex relationship a “marriage” does not make it a marriage, nor does it make the relationship stable or positive for society or for those involved.

TV shows are largely responsible for framing homosexuals as normal and exactly like heterosexuals, just they like sodomy or tribbing.

Seinfeld’s “not that there’s anything wrong with it”/gay serviceman coming out episode was probably the first one I remember.

Then Friends in the very first episode (Ross’ wife cheats on him and is homosexual) all through the series.

Then Will and Grace, which even the left admits was the greatest thing to advance their goal of accepting gay marriage by portraying gays that way.

Now Modern family, Glee, etc etc.

All the people here that say it’s nothing really do not understand propaganda. And those who say it’s nothing really are not bothered by it.

But that lifestyle is hardly like a normal persons. They hide all the AIDS and STD crap that go along with it, the bug chasing, what sex is really all about to them. Normal people would be disgusted if they saw what they did.

59% of the people can be wrong. That’s all that says.

People also grossly overestimate the percentage of the population is homosexual thanks to the media. It’s not uncommon for people to think 20-25% is gay.
