That’s what google turn up but I missed the connection.
I wonder how many of these progressive democrats (socialists) understand how early in the struggle for civil rights, Charleston Heston got involved.
Those two photos were not even taken at the same place.
Under fire from who?
Everybody knows obama must be the center of every picture. Just like he has the be the center of everything. Everything is always about HIM!
I could be wrong, but wasn’t the judge who let the marchers continue to Montgomery a Republican?
It means its a black thing.
...and why are all of the people in the background (many who appear to have a paler skin tone) being kept quite a distance from the Obama photo op, behind a black fabric? You can see the fabric on the left and right sides of the picture.
Hey, you left out Looty Guy!
Looks like they didn’t just omit the Bushes, but they also doctored up the photo pretty well to remove all that space between the special Hussein-heads up front and the big crowds well behind them. The space looks to be about almost the entire length of the bridge.
The POS “Optics” president.
Looks like the distraction worked. No one talking about Obama’s chief of staff, who can be seen walking right behind him.
Look at all of the backs of heads, presumably holding back the crowd. Looks like secret service dudes - not marching as we’re led to believe. Unless they marched backwards. lol
And Holder.
Everyone but Laura is displaying that “frowns on your shenanigans” face.
White house is in trouble for this? Really? But Benghazi, tea party targeting, targettign Christians, violations of constitution etc etc etc get a pass by the press, and barely a mention by GOP whio are ‘investigating’ Benghazi, irs, fast and furious etc, and now all of a sudden the white house is ‘in trouble’ for cropping a photo?
Shenanigans worthy of the old soviet propaganda machine.
Michele seems to prefer GWB to Hussein.
Bush was unwelcomed by some of the marchers.
One of the 1965 marches refused to go because he was there.
WATCH: Civil Rights Leader Refuses to March With Bush Truth Revolt ^ | March 8, 2015 | Rip Curl
"Diane Nash, a leader and strategist of the student wing of the 1960s civil rights movement, refused to march in Selma on Saturday because former President George W. Bush also attended the event, which celebrated the 50th anniversary of the famous nonviolent protest."
Shades of the Democrats disinviting Republicans from the Welstone Memorial.
As Biden would say, "it's a big f****** deal" when several presidents gather. You get the shot that depicts them both. That's what a historian does. That's what a journalist photographer does. Unless the historical record is unimportant. In which case, use a file photo from the past.
Children in the White Mosque.
Who cares Bush was just pandering anyway
If it weren’t for Republicans blacks would still be slaves...
