Burning cross outside Burnet County church spurs investigation (TX)

A prop makes sense. Notice the twisting on the "burned" wood cross...matches the writing on the sign.

And do we know the "scorch marks" are not actually a part of the sign??

I have to ponder a bit more....but I'm sure it's nothing more than a money seeking gimmick. (What's new?)

Maybe it wasn’t a cross. Maybe it was the letter “t” as they look similar.
