For the winter months I prefer to just use a pocket holster and carry in the pocket of my parka. (snubnose) Once it gets warm and I'm not wearing a coat I go to the IWB holser with loose fitting pants. Foxx makes a good holster custom made for your specific firearm.
For a sidearm I tried the drop holsters because some SWAT guys I know wore them and they did look cool but out in the field where you often go prone or sit they just shifted too much for me. I went back to my trusty Nighthawk belt holster.

I got a Turkish knock off, “The Master’s Holster”. Great leather work, and it feels and fits great. It was much cheaper, too.
For more secure carry, I got a Comp-Tac Minotaur, but it’s a little long for my 9mm and pretty stiff. I think it was designed for a larger sidearm. I’m thinking about getting an Alien Gear neoprene/kydex IWB.

Slowly losing the battle. The 5 tumors are growing and the chemo is affecting my eyes. It looks like I will be blind by the end of the year . . .
