WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Reuters) - North Carolina prosecutors will seek the death penalty against a man who police say kept detailed notes on parking at his condominium complex before gunning down three young Muslims in a neighboring unit, according to documents released on Monday.

Craig Hicks, 46, is charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the Feb. 10 shooting deaths of a newlywed couple and the wife's sister about two miles from the University of North Carolina campus in Chapel Hill.

Depends on how the victims lived their life. If the were nasty mean individuals, then they come back as rats and can bite their murderer while he sleeps.

But I suspect this prosecutor would not be seeking the death penalty if the victims were Christians, or Jews, or Hindus, or Buddhists, or atheists, or... ...anything other than Muslims.

Why hasn’t anyone sought the death penalty for Nidal Hassan? He killed 13 people, 14 if you count that the one woman was pregnant. He should have been swinging from the end of a rope years ago. Instead he’s wasting oxygen in jail.

Hasan has been sentenced to death, but the sentence has not yet been carried out.
