Well, you are the self exalted expert.

Sometimes, Berlin, people are exactly who they say they are. Have you thought about that? Do you think it is possible that I DO happen to know what I am talking about? You have never bothered to talk with me without trying to insult me. EVER. You approach me with a huge chip on your shoulder and bile in your words. . . slinging insults and calling me names. You are NOT going to get very far.

I have been trying to treat you politely but you simply refuse to return the favor.

Keep up your incivility and I will continue to treat you like an unruly brat. Try being a civil human being and you will find it goes a long way to getting along. Didn't your mother teach you that name calling and being a bully doesn't win you friends?

Apple is too busy spending their time grinding people down...

Is this the most drawn-out interview process ever?

You obviously have never been in a position to hire someone in a critical position. I have. This is not unusual at all. Sometimes the hiring process can take months and involve multiple interviews and visits before the ultimate decision can be made.

You think you've found something profound that proves something negative about Apple. You haven't. There was a similar article about Google's hiring practices about a year ago. Most major corporations have similar practices. You are just demonstrating your delusions again. Apple is considered one of the best places to work. ". . . grinding people down" your rear end.

As I said, you are spamming these threads with your repeated posting of that link which is irrelevant to the topics.

You could have ended this by just answering the simple question. . . but you were trying to be a poor man's Alinsky radical and ridicule me for criticizing you. You look on Apple users as the "enemy" and treat them as such.

how can he spam the thread when he CREATED the thread? If anything you are the one coming here trying to cause a scene for no other reason than to crave attention or to steal the limelight from anything that is not Apple. There is a word for that and it is called insecurity.

He's posted that same link on multiple threads. . . using different comments related to the thread topic making people think it has something to do with the topic. That's spamming. I don't care who created the thread. He waste's reader's time to go to a non-related link when it has nothing to do with the topic of the thread. He thinks it is a cogent observation on Apple when it isn't. If it is, SAY IT IN THE COMMENT. Don't be obtuse.

Well the article he posted is relevant as Apple proved it wasted the interviewed person’s time with all those hours trying to vet him. It is odd you are also wasting people’s time coming into non Apple threads, but trying to just be a thorn in the side so to speak of anyone willing to not bow down to Apple like you and the cult you belong to do.

You are as deluded as you usually are.

The focus of the story is LG and Samsung though. Apple is secondary although you won’t see it that way. As someone said Apple is having to hire out it’s competition to build their phones. Talk about ironic... And weak....

Speaking as an ex-CEO, I would say that Apple made the right decision in not hiring that person. The person was not the right fit and it took that many interviews and visits to find that out for both of them. It's evident the person was not the right fit because the person went whining to the press about the experience. What damage could that person have done from inside Apple as an employee?

Therefor it was not a waste of time for either of the potential employee or Apple.

Maybe the person was just looking for a job and wasn’t kissing a$$ enough for Apple to hire the guy? You can’t say Apple isn’t looking for rah rah Apple cheerleaders to work for them as they ARE. I’ve never met an Aple employee that was totally deluded into thinking Apple was the best! It’s almost like I can tell they were brainwashed/hypnotized in the way they ooze the BS about all things Apple.

No, it is not. There would be no story without the Apple linkage. Apple is the prime story here and the rest is rumor. No one has even made a press release. Neither LG or Samsung has made any kind of press release about it. It is an analyst pulling opinion out of his behind.

"The report, which cited unidentified industry sources, said LG Display will be the sole supplier of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screens for the Apple watches that go on sale in April.

Samsung Display will also become a supplier for the next version of the smartwatch that is expected to go on sale either sometime in the second half of this year or early 2016, the South Korean newspaper said.

I saw this rumor two weeks ago from another source and elected not to post it because it was so tenuous. Rumors have a tendency to evaporate into nothing. . . especially with the report that there will be two types of watch led screens. . . when Apple generally does not do that kind of thing. It has been reported that the crystals may be different materials, but not the displays types. That put this firmly in the area of rumor.

The story is Apple display screens and who might be providing them. Your analysis is flawed. No one is interested in what Samsung or LG are doing. That does not drive markets. This is me wearing my Economics degree hat.

I doubt you've really met many Apple employees.

AH, there's the Blue Highway who is deluded. Of course you have to conclude that any Apple employee you meet who doesn't agree with your assessment is deluded.

I have to work in the morning. . . well later this morning so I am going to bed. You have a good night Blue.

I won't comment on that, but yours are the most drwn-out, pointless, vapid, tedious, boring, tendentious and nearly interminable series of posts I have ever come across on Free Republic.

You would come across as less of a lunatic if your flame was not so drawn-out etc etc itself. LoL!
