Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace submitted newly-minted 2016 GOP frontrunner Scott Walker to thirteen minutes of sustained questioning about his record and his (mis)statements Sunday morning, the most notable moment of which came when Walker conceded after several minutes of interrogation that he’d “changed” his views on immigration.

This headline should read, “Walker CLARIFIES his views on immigration.” Wallace tried to trap him every which way with his questions, and Scott deftly handled each attempt.

Walker doesn't support amnesty.
Chris Wallace is just trying to follow in his old man's footsteps and carry the GOPe water.

GOP frontrunner Scott Walker to thirteen minutes of sustained questioning about his record

13 minutes sustained questioning? How did he ever survive such a marathon interrogation? Gak..

People who've been in minor fender benders are questioned longer than that.

Hope it didn't exceed his time...

There is nothing wrong with changing your view on something after getting more facts and talking to other people. He is not from a southern border State and probably didn’t know at the time the reality on the ground.

After 30 years of lawless violent government sponsored invasion of tens of millions he somehow did not have all the facts?

Ya think anyone buys that Rusty?

It’s a flip flop for sure. And a big one.

I honestly wouldn't call it a flip-flop. While Walker did talk about comprehensive immigration reform (which is amnesty, don't get me wrong), he talked about it more as a frustration of Washington not doing something about illegal aliens and he and the rest of the states shouldering the burden.

Also note that Walker never proposed or signed legislation things like driver's licenses for illegals, in-state tuition benefits, etc.

Walker has clearly said he would secure the border first and opposes amnesty. He didn't say illegals deserve our love like Jebbie did. I trust Walker on illegal immigration more than the other candidates, aside from Governor Palin.

Was that a pertinent issue for Walker in 2010? Wisconsin was $3.2 billion in the hole and getting eaten alive by the public sector unions. Walker had more pressing concerns.

Nice try.

Walker proposed the office for trade and business purposes.

That's what Governors do, promote businesses within their state to foreign markets.

Listen folks, Walker is the real deal. The media are doing everything they can to divide conservatives, don’t fall for it!
Walker’s views on immigration were not a priority to him while he was completely gutting and eviscerating the democrat machine in his state, so I think he was just a bit misinformed.

His record proves that he is conservative and believes in freedom! If you are going to wait for the perfect candidate, we will never see anyone in the white hut willing to undo this nightmare we are living in today.
